Dallas, TX

You know I am coming! is there going to be a drawing?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes.... Bring your door prizes!....one for each person in your party. Those that have extra goodies that is great too, in case someone forgets. We want everyone to go home with a little something. Don't spend much on items please, and they can be something you have already. It is just another way to bring us together and have fun.

Agenda....
*Everyone go to the sign in table first and pay for the members in your group, and p/u name tags.
*Place your food items on the tables (meat & veggies), (bread, desserts and chips) & (drinks / water and papergoods)
*Then unload plants quickly and park in the parking lot NOT on the dirt or grass.
*We will begin eating around 1pm
*After lunch we will begin swapping the plants
*As things die down we will have the door prize drawings until all the prizes are gone.
*Clean up is everyone's job....be good stewards of the park...do your part!
*Last....load 'em up.....

No Sheila. You're experienced at this, not bossy!

Dallas, TX

you sure are bossy Sheila ... leave that for Herman! LOL
My door prizes will be everything I cant give away! :)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, the boss is coming!! The Dr released Herman to drive today. I told him we had to bring a chaise lounge for him to lay down if he got too tired. His energy level isn't much this week. I had a head cold and think he might have gotten it. He doesn't need to be coughing after back surgery. I made him go to the MD yesterday and he started him on antiob., so we are on the mend.
So add him back in Josephine.

I will Sheila, with great pleasure.

I am sorry to say that I don't think we will be making it to this. Hopefully I'll make it to the fall one.

Hi Kim....you are just too busy! Sorry you can't make it, but do hope to see you in the fall.

KDRoper.... glad you found us in time. You just need to show up and have fun meeting lots of other gardeners. We do some pre-trades, but will have a lot of orphan plants that need homes, we love to share those.
We will eat after unloading so come at noon so you don't miss the good food. Then we will move on to swapping our pre-traded plants and seeing what extras everyone brought. After that we will have door prize drawings. Everyone should bring something so there is plenty to go around....but make it inexpensive and garden related. $1- 4 is about my limit, but then I have things I no longer use that I can pass on also. A bag of potting soil, or trowel is always useful. Following the drawing we will wind up our trading and start loading up and cleaning up. This usually envolves a trip back to the desserts!

I look forward to seeing you at the sign-in table.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

I am still planning to come. I have this shower to give on Saturday and I'm already worn out from preparations. But I want to see everyone, so unless I am just exhausted on Sunday, I will be there. Got brownies on the list.
