With regret, we are going to miss this RU. Our younger son and DDIL are going to be here from PA at that time. I hope all of you have a great time, and I hope plan to see you in the fall.

Sorry you aren't going to make it Patricia, you will be missed. I will see you at another I am sure. I am going to try and make it with or without DH to several this year.

Oh Pat!! I am sorry you can't make it, but I am sure you will have a good time with your son and family.

I have to play bells in church that day & we don't get out until noon... so I might just come for the fun.

I have to say for anyone who hasn't come before, you should. I came for the first time last fall and left with more plants than anticipated and learned a few things about the plants I didn't know. Plus plant folks are always nice and friendly. The food was tastey too!

Stephanie....Since you offered.....I will definately need you to help out at the RU. My DH has to have another surgery on the 19th of April, so he will not be coming with me. Can you head up the food tables; organize the main dishes, veggies, desserts and drinks that will be arriving? It would be a big help!
Frank and Josephine and doing the table signs and the door prize drawing. Peg, Anna, or someone else.....I need a person to take in the door prizes at the sign in table with me. I will handle the sign-in name tags and member payment.

Sorry to hear about Herman having another surgery. What a bummer, but I hope it goes well and he's up and about quickly.

Guess I hadn't addressed the door prize drawing earlier. Just bring something unisex, and please don't spend much on....go to the dollar store or share a plant you have in a cute pot. The range is usually $3-4 tops for me. You need to bring one item for each member in your family. Things you have around the house that you no longer use is fine also... Like bird feeders, yard art, even bags of potting soil, baskets, stepping stones, etc. Gardening books are a nice gift too.
We number the name tags and then draw numbers for the gifts.

Sounds great... I hand paint small bird houses (decorative only I'm afraid) & that would be good. I've also made a small planter from ceramics which I am sure I could do in time... but in any case I will have something.

Sybil, once you've found your trade list post, you should see the "edit" feature at the bottom of the square on the left where your user name, date, and time are. Just click on "edit" and you'll be able to enter the items you have for trade.

Well my DH will be having surgery on the 19th and will not be ready to drive yet on the 2nd of May. Don't be surprised if I grab the early birds to help out. It will work out fine, but I won't have my camera man, so bring your cameras.

I am sorry, that Herman will not be able to be there, we will miss him. I will try to get pictures.

I will be bringing my camera only it's not digital so I won't have the instant result to give you! hahaha.. I am a die hard film person!!

If I make it to the RU I will bring a camera.
