That's Entertainment!! Part 3
Yes - I posted about his death in the sports thread. Good guy.
I cannot believe anyone watches this Jersey Shore show. It must attract the Jerry Springer audience. Shows just how pathetic we have become.
This is a change of pace.

Holey Moley $3 for 1 chocolate chip cookie!!!!
Anybody familar with 'Garden Girl" TV? It's the first time i've heard of it.
http://www.gardengirltv.com/
I either watched a clip on the computer or the tv.. not sure which
Just watched a clip on pruning rose's, not bad. Was surprised I never heard of her before.
that clip is open on my screen as we speak
Not a great deal of info in the short clip. I think she got side tracked from pruning the rose!! LOL
Speaking of Rose's....Big Lots had some for $3.00
My brother picked up 'Joseph's Coat' (climber), Peace Rose, All American Beauty. He said there were others but not hardy for Maine. To bad they bring them in and try selling to some poor unsuspecting customer who knows nothing about roses and zone hardiness.
Mr. Lincoln is one they have, I bought it when I was very young and stupid, it died to say the least!! It's rated for a z7 so it didn't have a chance in heck here!! LOL
yeah that will happen at a discount store... $3.00 is great though .. at one time my grandmother had some climbing roses on an arch trellis in our backyard .. for whatever reason she got tired of it... hacked the whole thing down including the trellis with this small hand axe she had ... I just stood there with my mouth wide open
OMG! I would of too!
When I was young our driveway was lined down one side with pink rose bushes. They had been there as long as I could remember, until one night Mom had to bring the bus home. She was a sub. bus driver for the kids hockey games and such and came home at midnight one night. She tried backing it in the driveway instead of taking it to the Public garge where it belonged. She mowed down half her rose bushes with that bus and could not see the real damage until the next morning. Lets just say they never looked the same. :(

bummer
Someone posted a link to her site a couple of years ago.
???? Sherrie
You talked about beautiful girls in the Italian Pizza restaurant. Hooters is a bar/restaurant with nice looking hooter girls. You never had hooters?

Of course I have heard of them.
The pizza place did not have Hooters-type women there. This was just a gorgeous waitress. No skimpy outfits.
Anyone know who had the first hit VOCAL recording of More - the theme from Mondo Cane??? Everyone eventually recorded it. The earliest I can find is Sinatra and Andy Williams - both in '64. The movie was out in '62-'63 and the first recordings were instrumental.
I get the link but cant get there. I see just this.
Artist: Lenny Dee, sound recording by MCA Records, Inc ..... More : theme from Mondo cane / English words by Norman Newell ; Italian words by M. ... words and music by Little Jack Little, 1900-1956, Joe Young ; arr. by Steve Jamison. ...

He's not a vocalist.
rented an HBO film through netflicks tonigh called - delivering chance - very good
Anyone see Alice?? Looks weird.
we love Tim Burton .. but no we haven't
I like some of his stuff.
Looks very weird. I think Depp looks like Madonna with a lot of makeup. and Tweedle Dee and Dum are just WAY TOO freaky looking.
When does Madonna not wear a lot of makeup?!!
Peter Graves(Mission Impossible, Airplane) passed away today, he would have been 84 this week.
I think of Madonna more of outrageous outfits than her makeup.
saw a Smithsonian show on Japanese gardens tonight - very good - and changed our cable to watch the hbo series called the Pacific by t.hanks and spielberg - excellent
My son saw Alice In Wonderland with his school. He came back and said it was "so-so". I haven't asked him to elaborate on that.
Always liked Peter Graves. Great voice.
Guess it pays to die.

YES I agree. Nothing is free as long as your living in this world. Unless your a Shaker, Armish or whatever that starts everything, I mean everything from the ground up. As long as you are breathing nothing is free as it takes calories (that cost money) to live.
OK so if you get creamated that might be the end, BUT if you have a plot it cost money to be put in it, so it goes on forever down to the .000001 cent!
Watched one of my favorite movies last night - The Out of Towners with Jack Lemmon. Hilarious!
Anyone see the opening episodes of Life on Discovery/Animal Planet? Fantastic.
