Congrats Mrs. Ed on the lifer...any eagles????
Gary...very cool Raven!
Duc...like the blackbird too!
Hack....you are just too busy! Neat series.
Had a little trouble getting this Downy Woodpecker. She just wouldn't stay still very long!
Daily Pictures Volume 281
Great shots everyone!
Hack, Those Brown-headed Nuthatches are adorable!
Hack, loved that 2 for 1 of the nuthatch! Great job on the dove photo too. Cute finch photos too. Looks like a busy place to be with the camera.
Wild Rose, your hubby did a great job on the photo.
Nanny, love the wp, starling and that beautiful cardinal shot-great job.
Lovely Dave! Bad news is all the snow you got. good news is that you have plenty of snow for your bluebirds in the snow pix.
Hack, you are so funny. Nope, I didn't have anything better to do than lug about my camera and… scare the honkers out of those geese. BOY were they loud.
Nanny, there were only a few Eagles on the far side of the river. It's really strange how I saw so many last year and many of them were fishing. I might try the lock and dam that is the next one south. I've seen some pix on the Illinois Birders' network from that location.
Dave, Those are such beautiful pics of your birds! Everyone's looking happy and healthy!
Fabulous photos everyone.
Meth, your closeups are so sharp, can see every feather and water drop
Hack, I have goldfinches like you do, so many the nyjer seed doesn't last long enough. $32.00 doe 20 lbs. is a lot of money when only lasts a few days, but I guess the birds are worth it.
2dc Dave, Loved your bluebirds. Hope to see some here in a month or so.
Absolutely great pictures everyone and thanks for sending them on.
Donna
nanny_56 - I'm not surprised to see a Goldfinch on the thistle feeder, but I've never seen a Dark-eyed Junco at one. Good capture.
2dCousinDave - Don't be sorry about posting a bunch of bluebirds shots - I love 'em. Haven't seen one around here yet, but I was talking to my neighbor the other day and she said that she has seen several pairs i the past - so, I may see some yet.

Sunshine today. So I sat outside. Got some pics of a pair of Yellow-rumped Warblers feeding around at the base of some bushes. I'd only seen one in the past, a male. Well, today I snapped pics of a male and a female.
Here's a 2-for-1 arrangement of the male.

2-up of a Chipping Sparrow and a Carolina Wren.

Met, great shots and nice start to this thread.
Gosh, everyone has been busy. I feel like I'm sitting on my hands. Lots of great photos here. What can make a better photo than a Bluebird in the snow ? I really like the one on the birdbath.
It looks like Klamath Valley is alive with wildlife, adel. Hack, you've been extra busy. Nice shots .....
duc, particularly like your Bald Eagle photo .... of course !
nanny, nice backyard shots.
Hack you have a good variety of birds. You sure have been busy. Adel I have never seen snow geese.
