Nice ones nanny!

I like the feeder shot, nanny. Love when different kinds of birds seem to be getting along.

HELP! The cold has really made the finch move south. Any donations of thistle seed will be apreciated. Here are some Goldfinch on one of my three socks.

My poor cats all have headaches from hitting the window glass with their heads. One of the socks is only eight inches from the window. Here are some on the thistle feeder.

I don't see Purple finch every year. Only those years when the weather north of me is really bad. Today I saw a pair. Here is the male.

Great shots nanny ... especially that one of the Cardinal, Chickadee and Finch on the feeder together!

f_chisolm: Wow, also a great shot of all those Goldfinches! We got a few last year, I think it was in March, can't remember for sure but that was the first time I had ever seen them in my area! They sure are pretty birds ... and boy, they sure do love thistle seed! Love the little one posing for the camera!

The Pine Warblers became very possessive of the suet feeders with so many fince flying around and landing every where.

TY Lin. I think the other birds were a little confused with all the comotion. Here is a lady Northern Cardinal.

The Chipping Sparrows realizing they were out numbered stayed in their own little group.

The dedes, tits and nuthatches all moved to fast today for me to get their pix. It was cloudy,dark and cold today. I had to keep the camera set on 1600 ISO all day.

Nice shots Frank! I love seeing all the Goldfinch along with the Chipping Sparrow and Pine Warbler!
