And the South, well you guys should be swimming today. Flowers, I think you're getting snow!

So lets stay inside, look for marbles (remember Tootles in 'Hook"?) drink coffee and eat cake.

I just got a bunch of chocolate and swedish fish dropped on my desk. (I did a coworkers taxes). Come on by. And a chocolate rose. Breakfast!

I don't think I've ever had a swedish fish. I don't care too much for gummy candy though so probably seen them just didn't try them.

Chocolate with nuts or caramel in it is my farorite. That's milk choclate.

I don't know why I bothered to clean at all....can't find nothing and everything is a mess.

Smiley, I have a glass of Cherry-cran-raspberry juice almost every day. My doc says keep doing whatever i do cuz I am not nearly as "stove" up as I should be and don't have to take any prescription stuff as yet. Thanks for that link....good info there.

Yeah Flowers it is recycled blue jeans. Too bad I can't just stuff the walls full of the ones I can't wear. Cheap, easy,usefull storage..grin..

Like Moon said apparently the bugs and mice don't like it so they don't get in the walls.

Off to town I go need crack sealer...you would not believe the crack between the walls and floor. No wonder I'm freezing in there.

Going to take measurements of appliances to see what might fit best and look at recess lighting.

Would be easy and fun if I had a bottomless checkbook. Never fails I will pick out the most expensive thing in the store.

And I need more boxes...

Sorry I missed ya girls, was trying to get picture of all the crows in the yard, think they are making a horror movie out there. Sneaky boogers, saw me at the door and flew off. Thanks for receipe moon, gotta try that one simple and sweet! Give us an update on what you have acomplished. JJ I'm so excited for you girl, can't wait to see end results. Update to date...DH, GS and my closets are clean and organized, attic re-arranged so more stuff can (and does ) live there, all blankets, comforters, bed spreads, etc washed, line dried and ready,(including all the throws that the animals shed on....grin) Roll away bed, high chair, stroller, play pen and car seats purchased/borrowed, Jordan's bathroom...clean from top to bottom and new floor laid, utility room clean and organized, linen closet done, ceilings all clean, ceiling fans clean, refrigerators, inside and outside are both clean, stove, microwave, toaster oven and oven all cleaned. Patio where the dogs hang out is clean and washed down, pantry clean, cabinets and drawers in kitchen cleaned out and organized, first wave of stuff hauled to GoodWill, master bath floor to ceiling clean...washing shower curtains now, flower beds around front door cleaned and mulched, dog beds washed...dogs' appointment with groomer made, DR appts and Dentist appts done, master Bedroom and GS bedroom clean....I think I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel....figure it is probably a train....grin. 3 rooms and two closets to go....DH's office is up to him....grin

Wow I'm tired just reading that Moon :-) Just take a little time before they get here to rest up, as you will have to pick up speed again then I'm sure lol. Good Job Buddy!

wow you guys sure have been industrious! I just got back, wind is howling, roads are slippery, and the sun glare is annoying, plus I didn't know where I was going so I was grumblin all the way. It's 14 without the wind chill, it's 15 below with brrrr.

The guys at work chipped in and bought the coworker that's leaving 2 new tires for her car/truck thingie. I think it's a blazer. She had 2 bald tires in the back, and was always getting stuck. I said awwww! what a guy thing to do! She was thrilled.

aww, that's so nice of them! that's sweet! tires are expensive.

yeah, what a bunch of guys! They used the company we use for our truck tires, so it wasn't too bad.

Moon, I can't believe all what you have been doing! From ceilings to cleaning the dog! Be sure to save time to bake and cook something special. Maybe something you can do the day before.

Lynnie, there you are out there in that freezing cold! Be sure to wrap up and put on a hat, gloves, boots, and layers of clothes to stay warm.

I have a question for all of you. They say you should have SEVEN servings of fruit and veggies in one day. Do you all have that many???? (JJ, potato chips don't count! lol)

Venice I think the RDA is 5 servings a day, and a serving is only a half cup, and yes I make sure to get that much pretty much every day.

The re-cycled Denim insulation system sounds good.I remember not long ago,I watched a programme where a family built a Scandanavian style wooden frame home and they used insulation made from sheep fleace,apparently it cut down heating costs hugely.
Lynnie,your weather sounds terrible,we've had a tropical 36 degrees here today:}

Lynnie,you posted whilst I was typing,sounds like your fruit and veg is same suggested amount as here,5 a day.I don't think it's too hard to achieve,even some fruit juices qualify ,I believe.

I don't drink fruit juice except for once in a while oj, I think it's mostly empty calories.

Venice I'm very bad about dressing for the weather, i can only ever find one glove and I never wear a hat lol I have nice warm ski jacket though. And some toasty warm boots.
