This is my first year to plant gourds and I have 3 nice ones but I don't know when to pick them. Someone please help.

Pick them after the vines are completely dead. This will not likely be until after the frost has come and killed everything off.

Frost won't hurt the gourds at all. Just leave them out there, and after the vines are brown and dead, just walk around and pick up the gourds. :)
