You all are at it again early this morning, great stuff. I will play the blue game. Campanula lactiflora 'Pritchard's Variety' in June.
Countdown to spring! One garden photo per day - Part 6
Love all the beautiful colors and plants this morning but Bill's photos are making me crazed for spring - too neat (but wonderful).
Louise - hard to believe it bloomed for you already. I took a lot of cuttings and they'll be blooming this year. Cuttings of Beni Gaku also did exceptionally well. It means digging up more plants to make an even larger hydrangea garden.
Lily Bonbini from DG's own Ramona/Mainiac - Faraway Flowers:

thx pirl - nice lilly
i like all the blues too - the cham. boulevard should count as a blue:)
Bill - what did you put in your coffee that you see the JM as blue? I want some.
Pirl, that is one GORGEOUS pic
Thanks, Jen, and my thanks to Ramona. I love her bulbs!
Love the forget me nots in spring. Never know where and how many will show up. Pirl your lily pic is just lovely. I have some coming from there this spring. Can't wait for some new lilies. I have put off getting new ones since the arrival of the red devils but think I can handle them now so some new pretties yeah.
Pretty hydrangea Victor. Are they naturally pink for you or do you add lime? All the large leaf including lacecap are blue here without amending soil PH.
pirl behind jm is a blue conifer - it is really a sea blue color.
victor if i vacuumed all the mulch you like so much would go:)
No lime for this one. Surprising, given my acidic soil.
Bonbini's pink is much darker than mine was Pirl, is it in partial shade or full sun? It's a beautiful photo!
They're at the fireplace wall and don't get full sun until after 11 AM, Celeste.
Thank you!
So very pretty!
And tiny! (lol)
Nice macro!
Thank you!
such pretty shots today all
Awesome shot WC!!
Pirl....I was in Southold when I took that picture ^_^
Thanks Pixie, I had fun taking the shot! lol
Love all the blues. With the woodland setting, I tend to stick with blues/purples, pinks, and whites. I'm seeing so many things here that I've added to my list for spring planting. Definitely will be on the lookout for the hydrangea in Victor's last post, and the one in Venu's post too if you know the variety. I really like the lacecaps and have been adding a few each year. This picture is an unknown rhododendron that I planted in the woods back in the late 1980s and then completely neglected and forgot about because it never bloomed. Then it did this two years in a row now. These kind of surprises never cease to amaze me.
Nice rhodie! I love the lacecaps too. Not many hydrangeas I don't like.
I like that one D Nut.
Love that song. Its best sung in the shower:-)
Or on Dave's?
That's not a second photo, is it?
Uh oh!
Thats ok. I haven't posted a pic today, she can use my turn:-)
