61 more days! Let's make those days go faster by continuing.
Clem Will Goodwin
Countdown to spring! One garden photo per day - Part 6
That's a beauty, Victor. I'll have to try Will again. Both previous times it wouldn't grow for me so maybe the third time will be the lucky charm.
Far too many people refuse to learn their cameras - almost as a point of pride. They ignore aperture, speed, settings, etc. and rely on a photo program to "fix" the photos. Learning just one setting a week shouldn't be difficult.
Ooops forgot the ID: Ballerina rose, w/Cokin spot diffuser
Beautiful Clematis and Rose shot guys!!
Thanks luvs! - I know you have some beautiful shots also! ☺
I just LUV yellows with Phlox David!
Very nice rose shot, WC. Nice little visitor. Nice colors, ladies.
There 'ya go! Nice shot luvs!
Aw thanks WC!
love the blue color.. photos are so deceiving.. I really thought those blooms were a lot bigger Pixie.. until last year!
it took a few years to get mine to the size it is.. I am guessing if all goes well they should be pretty big this year.. it's nice that it blooms and and then into fall ... even if it's only a few later on
Love-in-Mist is very small and delicate, when you get a good clump of mixed colors they look like little jewels.
sad to say I don't think I get enough sun for them... they were puny last year.. might have been all the rain as well
yes, mine didn't do well last year either, too much rain not enough warm weather either.
I don't feel so bad then!
Be careful what you wish for Allison.
I had it and it is a major spreader. I love the seed heads.
no worries my ocd deadheading will stop them!
More pretty flowers. What is it now 60 days? Icy/snow windy mess outside, but I have spring in front of my eyes thanks to all of you.
Jen that lily is definitely 'Monte Negro'. I checked back to past years photos and that is what it is. It is a nice deep color red.
My contribution for today is a delphinium 'Misty Mauves' from June.
what a nice rich color!!
Love Love In Mist!
Nice big Delphs ngam, great color!
Climbing Tea Rose which came with the house, reaches ~12' H in one of my Junipers, unfortunately the branch it has chosen to climb on is leaning against my fence, with the winds here that branch has to come down this spring or the fence will sustain seriously damage. I'll try to reposition the canes as best I can...
Nice! I noticed the pollen echoing the barberry before I took that.
I swear I had Rozanne with Watson but no luck.
No, we just let Jo get away with it!
You'd better... (lol)
Age has its privilages.
Besides my artritic foot is killin me.
Keeps my mind off of it.
LUV the colour today! I'm going to find my iris pics. they are somewhere.....
Actually, Jo, I chalked it up to you being an artist. They don't like conformity! ^_^
You got it buddy
Stream of........something.
OMG how come I don't know about that luvly thing! I NEED that yellow beauty! Thanks flowerjen.
