I have a foul smell eminating from my Viburnum tinus I have two shrubs in my garden both close to each other and they smell of dogs muck. Does anyone have an answer to this problem thanks.
viburnum bad smell
I read somewhere that some viburnum just have a stinky smell and some just stink when they are trying to attract pollinators. I think this link talks about it.

Yup....they can smell pretty bad the last few days of blooming. Otherwise they are very nice shrubs in the landscape....First time mine bloomed, it was lovely...a couple days later i kept checking my shoes...and wrinkling my nose looking for the culprit....my Viburnum....grin
