Here's the new thread.

Daily Pics Vol. 273
VA_Wild_Rose - Sorry we're playing the cross-post game. Pelle asked me to start the new thread when the old one hit 135 posts. I was a little late, it hit 141 posts before I knew it.
BTW, that is a real nice look at the Red-bellied WP.

Thanks! We are just learning the names of some of our new friends!
I am anxious to know what the other woodpecker is!
Never mind.

I was looking at linthicum's photo in the bird files, and was thinking the yellow-bellied lok more like it.
Thanks guys! We had no idea! Now we do!
Pelle, great shot of the warbler through the window! That blue sky sure looks good.
Wild Rose, wonderful shots of the nuthatch and wp!
Hack, thanks for starting the new thread. Your Pine Warbler is beautiful!! Great one of the Downy too!!
Wild Rose, what a beautiful sapsucker. Hope you are able to get more photos of that one. You have a great variety of birds. That last one of the timouse is cute!
He sure is! They use thousands of tree's. I think I've only seen them here 3 times. Yes yours is a male. Congratulations.
Congrats on your Pine Warbler Hack!

Resin.....Thanks for the correction on the Cassin's Finch I posted on the last thread. There were other Finch in the area that I thought were House Finch, but they didn't have the red backs like this one. My book only shows the Cassin's and Purple Finch having red backs. My mistake. Here is a pic of one of the others in the same area.
Mrs Ed, the second red bellied with the corn cob is just super! Nice pose, good color and great effect with the snow falling. Makes me cold to look at it.
That is a good one Mrs Ed; she's a pretty girl! Is the corn cob attached to the platform feeder?
Nanny, Nice pic of the Brown Thrasher!
Hack, Another good one of the Pine Warbler!
Thanks Dave,
Yes Pelle, that's stuck on a nail in the center of the platform.
hmmmm...that was Hack with the thrasher.....poor thing would freeze to death here right now. LOL! It is 6 dgrees right now and still droppin. YUCK! I did get the snowblower out and have the driveway cleared off for DH when he got home.
Cool Mrs. Ed, That is a neat surprise!!
Nice shot to start the new thread off with Hack! Nice shot of the B. Thrasher also.
VA_Wild_Rose, Nice shot of the Y-b Ss! You too Nanny! Would love to have one visit here.
Adel, every time I think I have caught a shot of a Purple Finch, (too many) its been a House Finch, then I read in my field guide, their not in my range during the winter. lol
Mrs_Ed, really like your success shot! We've gotten about 5 inches of new snow since 1pm.
Got a couple shots from Sheldon's Marsh today, it was one of those delete days. lol
Start off with an Am. Robin.
