I am new to Texas and clay soil....We had a lot of rain in the Piney Woods of East Texas this year and now my lawn is almost running water down the hill. So much that the fence has slipped down the hill also. Help! What should I do to stop the water from setting on top of the grass?
Thank you for any help you can give me
Lawns and clay soil
You may need to look into terracing for erosion control. this can be done with plants or retaining walls, stone edging, etc. Here are a couple links. Just google (erosion control in Texas) or (terracing to control erosion in Texas) either of those should give you a wealth of info and ideas.
