Flower seed Question

I am trying to germinate my own flower seeds this year, to plant outside this spring. Can anyone tell me where to find a list of the light and temperature requirements to germinate and the requirements necessary to grow flower seeds? The Seed Starters Handbook has that info for vegetable seeds, but now I am looking for a list to cover the different flower seeds. Also, I would like info on sun/shade tolerance for vegetables and flowers.

I would recommend you try winter sowing them. Check out the WS forum for more help and info: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/coldsow/all/

I'm planning on WSing my flowers as well as some of my veggies this year.

Here's a site you'll most likely find of interest. http://tomclothier.hort.net/ Look under the annual/biennial and perennial germination databases. You'll find more info than you dreamed of there.

You could also try the Seed Germination Forum at the top there is a Sticky that has that I think has that info.
