Hi all. I have ten Blue Bedder salvia plants (that's all it says on the seed packet, sorry no botanical name) that I believe are infected with powdery mildew. The oldest leaves on all the plants are brownish-gray dried out starting at the tips and working back to the entire leaf, and some leaves have circles of greyish white powder. These are plants I grew from seed, and they are supposed to be perennials, but I am not sure how contagious the mildew is, or if it is treatable. I would greatly appreciate any advice, because I don't want to rip them out, but neither do I want my other plants infected as well. Thank you!

Here is some info on the treatment and prevention of powdery mildew. It also gives very good cultural info also. You may need to cut the plants back to remove dead/infected growth.

Great, I'm going to try that, thank you!
