Hi (after a lengthy absence!) to everyone! Has everyone made (and already broken) their New Year's Resolutions? Resolutions to knit more or to knit less? I have gone back to stitching baskets with the yarns and plastic canvas (yes, I know - I don't knit - never learned how). As for being driven? I got out of a really bad situation/job and I am not the same depressed lifeless blob I was getting to be in Calif.. I have a vision... it's not a big place, but it's out here somewhere.. waiting for me, Cody, Krystal and the chickens.. and Catsy to live next door.. it's here, I'll find it, just you wait and see.

The stars are ROUGHLY placed, not precise, no quibbles about being 1/16 inch off please...
I did a sort of triangulation of the utmost secret mathematical formula to develop a center point.
Now, there are two ways to look at this "center point" thing. And if you're Canadian, it's centre point.
let me present the two options in the next two posts.
First, here we are.
Super mathematically inclined method number one determines a spot where the most people are clustered and figures out the shortest distance for them to go, and then the distant people, who are going to have to travel anyway, just have to travel there, but it is the most central spot for the highest density of potential participants. That puts us somewhere in west central Illinois.

Now, super highly mathematically inclined center triangulation method number two, works out the general point for the purpose of the most distant folks having to travel the least distance. Thus, the furthest people all have to travel "roughly" the same distance, and the closer people are all closer than the furthest people.
That method puts us somewhere about Omaha, NE.

Option number three is that y'all congregate on my farm, which has plenty of tent pitching and RV room, and it's not that far from option #1, and you have a "home base" to stay at. With Miss Marshmallow and the 20-25 lambs due this year, and the 4-8 goat kids.
OK, now I'm annoyed. I just noticed all my stars moved slightly to the northwest at some point. This is an anomaly I cannot explain. Sorry. But you get the idea.
