I found this site as a link and wanted to know if anyone has used them? I am a scrounge and DYI gardner with more ideas then money but this seemed like a way to help a nonprofit and get plants. It charges a fee-$7.95- for adults with special needs to package and process my order of FREE plants and trees left from nurseries. I am a regular at the "dead plant" racks so I'm not scared to take those plants left behind. Still for me the money is precious and wandered if anyone else had ever heard of them?
Thank you
Anne
Free trees and plants website?
Is this the place you're talking about? http://davesgarden.com/products/gwd/c/3403/ There are some reviews there to help you make up your mind whether you want to order from them or not. The Garden Watchdog is always a great place to check anytime you run across a nursery that you're not familiar with.
Thank you! I found out what I needed and will order a test batch and see what happens. I appreciate your guiding me to the info I needed
Anne
Hi Anne. I have ordered from them before....took a long time for stuff to arrive and a couple things were substituted, but over all not a bad deal.
