I live in zone 8, and close to Pensacola FL, I planted sets of short day onions, both the TX Granex and the White GA ones. I planted them at the proper time for growing them, but am confused as to when they should be pulled up? I know a person is supposed to wait for the tops to yellow? About what month would that be?

Phil: I'ts too late to grow them right now, mine came out great. The Texas Yellow Granex and the GA white sweet were both sweet enough to bite right into one, they of course, weren't really huge; but, they are really nice ones I grew from bulbs.
