I just remembered ~ when I was doing that map. Flowers kept disappearing. I printed the photos, and Flowers went missing! I was saying

"Hey Flowers! Where'd you go??" DH would say
"What's the matter?"
"Flowers disappeared!"
"I don't see any flowers on your document"
"Not flowers... Flowers!"

It was too funny. Somehow I got her to print. Can we call her 'The Great Phantom Flowers' or something along those lines??

I don't look good with extremely short hair. I'm too 'hippy' and look unbalanced. I absolutely love yours, though, and wish I could wear mine like that.

Not that mine is long, but it balances me out a little. Plus, DH is stuck in the 70's - 80's when I had long hair and wishes I would grow it long again. He cringes when I get a haircut. I'm not one who likes to spend any time on it, though, and would rather wash & go. If it gets too long, I have to mess with it and I get annoyed.

I forgot to mention,the birds on the calendar are really beautiful.Some of them are totally new species to me,and mostly so colourful,compared to English garden birds.

Mine's been short for a long time now and whenever I wonder about growing it a bit,I remind myself that it'd need "messing " with and remember what a nuisance it was.
When I can get DH to pose for a photo[he hates having them taken]you'll see that he has all the hair.In fact when I saw Dave's photo,I was amazed at the resemblance,except DH says Dave appears to be much slimmer than he:}

I didn't realize you were talking abotu a calender, I was looking all over the map for birds.

The Candy bars aren't flattened at all.Will sample in a while,and tell you all which I prefer.I'm going to go and do a few things before the end of the day,9.15 here already.
Boiler not working as of this morning,engineer due out to us tomorrow PM,and outside temp about 30,warmed up a bit actually Lol,so we've got a small electric fan heater plugged in at present in sitting room.Expect there'll be a fight for it at bedtime :},as no central heating working.

Hey Smiley, great job on doing the map, getting all are photos together, and sending all the other stuff. I hate to say but who is it in the red sweater? I can't read the printing too well. Also, I thought there were just 2 girls from IL, Trina and JJ. Who is the other one? My mind is a blank.

Has anyone made Jim's Cranberry Salad? My is a little soupy like apple sauce. I still have to let it wait another day. I wonder if it will get thicker.

Not feeling too well. Took some Pepto-Bismol. Haven't been doing much today since mailing my package. Nothing is urgent so that is good. Birthdays aren't until Dec. 29th and 30st. Wish I could be with them.

Venice, if you click on the picture to enlarge it, then you can use the control key and the plus sign(+) to zoom in on the image...just use the control key and minus (-) sign to zoom back out. See if that helps.

I don't remember seeing a photo of JJ. I remember her Halloween outfit but that is all.
