it especially makes your head hurt when it's a transfer of a business from a father to a son, the business has been open for almost 100 years...but until now...no one was in charge of filing anything really and what they did keep is jammed in a filing cabinets all of it mixed together I got records for a 1914 Model A mixed in with a 2001 corvette...anyone want to help?

no I said finish the greenhouse and that would be good....he doesn't have to buy anything all the stuff is already here

we have to leave in a little while to take Matt the 19 yo to Iowa to meet his mothers parents so he can ride to florida with them to see his Mom and then he's gonna fly back next week...my problem with this plan is they have to drive right by here on there way back to florida so why don't they just pick him up then...but I got it figured out...if they stopped then they would actually have too see the other 2 grandkids (austin and amanda) and they don't want anything to do with them...no wonder the kids mom is so messed up that she left...she had such a 'great' role model to follow...sorry I'm venting

I just finished packing my box to mail tomorrow. The first mailing box I got was too big. The second mailing box was still too big. So I wrapped my DS and GD birthday presents and put them in it also. However, I have a couple things for each of them to do in the next couple of days then mail. I have to get some seeds together for GD. Hopefully I will be able to make some cookies and a loaf pound cake for my DS. Clean my oven first that has garden soil in it! The darn box is so heavy I can hardly move it! I tried to put it on my scales and it said 311 pounds! I know it isn't that heavy! It probably weighs close to 50 pounds. After all the running around packing that box, I am pooped and sweaty!

Rachel and Joy, love your snow and horse photos! I guess most of you are ready for Christmas and expecting your family soon. I do hope all of you have a glorious Christmas! You all sound so happy and pleased with all your baking, cooking, and decorations. Please take some photos if you can.

I am making Jim's cranberry salad. Seems like it is going to be more of a dessert. It needs to set for one day and then another day with the rest of the stuff. So it will be a couple of days before I taste it.

I've been awake for hours. Figured out DH is allergic to our new down comforter his mom gave us (Mrs. QVC). So he threw on the old poly filled one in the middle of the night and I was ill-prepared. Kept waking up, cold. Bummer.

They have found more chicken friends a block over from where we live. They made an embarassing spectical of mommy,trying to get them home. Oh and never fear of course mom found the pizza oven. My phone was beeping like crazy kid texting me as he was calling around some stores I told him to check, Nope all out, out there too , nope and then it rings "MOM get your butt to farm king they have four"!! I say how much, he tells me and I said "I'll keep the one in my cart it's cheaper" LOL.

I found it second store I went into they had 6 of them I was looking at other things. Why waste a trip to the mall for one thing..

$41 and 56 pounds! I didn't think it was that heavy. Had my neighbor load it into my car and a guy standing in line at the P.O. unloaded for me.

GS is getting quite a vacation from math...none until next school year...proud to say we finished the course with a B+ (sure thought for a while we'd be lucky to get a D)

I woke with Montezuma's revenge at 2 this am....how can one still be getting sick when there's nothing left in the tummy? SOOOOO not fair! I'm fine as long as I don't move too much. this is NOT what I had planned today...I need to be making fudge and cookies for friday. and I'm down to the 3 youngest at home...Blake won't even get a visit out until after the first (part of me wants him home the other part says just enjoy the peace) and Matt rode back to florida with his mom's parents to visit and he won't be back until the 5th

Well everyone THE PARCEL's arrived,thank you all so much,I've put my Fuzzy Socks on,they're perfect,and can't wait to make Jell-o and Kool-aid,younger son particularly interested,in both those and the chocolate bars:}.The photos of you all and the map,are really a lovely idea,now I feel I know you all.Thank you all so much.I'm desperatly trying to think of somethings which are only available in this country,so that I can send a parcel in return,I don't know as yet what we have,that you don't,but we're working on it:}
