Nice pictures!! Spirit is looking so good SW! We had a visitor for a few weeks. I walked into the garage where our half feral cat lives (she has a heating pad for the freezing nights). Glanced at the cat bed in the golf cart and said, "you've gone to bed early Fluffy" then looked again and said "You're not Fluffy". Since I was between it and the door this cat didn't know what to do, so I moved and let it escape. It came back later and for the next couple of weeks while our temps were in the teens. Even my cold garage was better than outdoors and I didn't have the heart to run it off. Fluffy hissed at it if it got too close, but as long as she had her heating pad it was o.k. Now that it's warmed up it wanders through from time to time but doesn't spend the night anymore. We think it belongs to the business next door. Looked healthy and well fed, just cold I think.

Your visitor sounds kind of like how Nimitz, Casey's cat just walks right in. The other cats are becoming more accepting of her, and it does crack me up when she walks into my house. LOL! She is confined then ejected when my pups aren't around to scare her. Cats don't like sharing their warm/cool spots, do they?

Well that black cat is still coming around. Only once in a while and is trying so hard to get Fluffy to be friends. It's so funny to watch.

My frogs started singing today!! They usually do it once during winter and we've been in the 50's the last few days. They aren't as loud as they get in the spring, but nice to hear.

Yeah, an egret keeps coming around here, too and Julie's having none of it. She goes into a frenzy every time she sees that dang white bird! I have a feeling she's had a run-in with one somewhere along the way. I'd much rather hear frogs singing, Sis. LOL

SingingWolf is having computer issues again and will get back on, hopefully, this afternoon.

The days are getting longer and considering how fast time flies now that I am not as young as I used to be, ha, ha, I know spring is going to jump up and slap me in the face before I am ready!
My neice got a huge kick out of it when I told her that some people have real bananas growing in their greenhouses and yards down there. Even some silly people up here have them. Poor buggers are all burnt up from the freezes. Makes me sad to drive by them. How are yours doing?

Hey guys/girls!
My Computer has been giving me a lot of frustration. For some reason, even though I can't log onto DG directly, (Terry DG Admin made a link that lets me on today). I still can't log on to DG on my computer or other people's either. I've tried using my kids, my friends, even my chiropractors computers. I get this message about cookies, it wants me to enable (feed) cookies (all the cookies are enabled) on my computer. I was able to log onto DG earlier today, using my computer and a friends name and password. So what is up with that? How could I do that if the cookies weren't enabled?
I tried logging in normally after the fix from Terry, but still can't. Have to go to email find the one from Terry, then I have to click on the link and I am already signed in?
So I don't know what to tell you all. I shouldn't have been able to log in on my computer using some one else's user name and password if I didn't have the cookies enabled. If any of you computer savvy people know whats going on, I'd appreciate some help.
Too bad. I have some great photos and stories I wanted to share. Am afraid every time I log off that I won't be able to get back on DG.
Even more frustrating, we still have a RU to plan for this spring. Hang in there with me, folks. Terry is working on the problem, too.

Did you clean out the cookies/history/etc.?

Did you try the computer forum?

People like us who spend allot of time on-line, should have their computers set to delete temporary internet files every time the computer is re-booted. Otherwise these files can take up a huge amount of space and really slow things down. SW, have you ever done a disk clean-up or a defrag? It is pretty easy, let me know. You will ask your computer to check to see if either of these needs to be done, and if it says yes, then you will go ahead. If your hard drive is a mess, it could take hours for it to clean itself up. But it is kinda cool, you get to watch!

We did a defrag in December. Took it 3 days. No unneeded cookies left. Computer worked fine afterwards. Had no trouble logging on until just over a week ago. Spent a couple hours on the phone tonight working on the problem. Still can't log on normally. The only way I can get onto DG is by going to my email and clicking on the link Terry left for me. I'm afraid I just don't know what to do anymore.
Have not tried the computer forum, KC. Just coping, now that I'm on DG again I can ask, but will wait until the morning. I am exhausted now.
I would have called you, KC, but I lost your phone #, so I picked on weegy to let you all know I was okay but my computer was demanding cookies. LOL!
I could have called DP, but with his move and all . . .
So I'm going to be sure to find your phone # KC, and enter it into my phone for emergencies like this.
In case it matters, I am using Windows Vista operating system, and Mozilla Firefox for my browser. Still can't figure out why I can use my computer and a friends user name and password with no problems but can't sign on using my own user name and password. It just doesn't make sense.

You're right, it doesn't make sense. I remembered you had done a lot of work on your 'puter not long since. Did Terry check with the Dave? Maybe it's time.

I agree, it doesn't make any sense. I hope they figure it out for you! Computer problems can really ruin a day, week, etc! We are glad you are back though!

Was able to bring up DG today, but was already logged on, and I remember logging off. But don't care, because I didn't have to go through my email to find the link first. It's an improvement.
