Jesup, GA

Come on over Lynnie. We have plenty of left overs. We will waddle together!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Moon, I thought that your DS was just thinking about getting a goat. Can't wait to see it.

Also, thanks for that link. Really cool!!!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Jesup, GA

Lynnie must be hunting down prey some where...Grin

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Trina, that link says acorn squash is clearly a fruit!!!

Jesup, GA

Venice did you ever get your Begonias planted?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

We got the goat for them for Christmas. It is 6 months old and such a little cutie. The man had some 2 week old ones that were just as sweet as they could be...little tiny things about the size of a Boston Terrier. They already have two regular size goats, a goose, a peacock, some chickens, a rabbit, a cat and a bunch of dogs.

Those stair cases were neat, but i want to go back and check out some of those other links too.

Jesup, GA

Cant wait to see the picture Moon . Those little fellows are so cute.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Dixie, yes, I planted them a couple of days ago.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

sorry didn't see Moon's link...okay then what's a strawberry because the seeds are on the outside not the inside? and that would make a tomato a fruit? never mind not going there, I'll just get a headache. My kids eat em that's all that matters

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Yes, I know tomatoes are fruit!

Jesup, GA

Wonder where Dave is....been missing him on the thread. Hope he's o.k.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I saw him on plant id forum yesterday...

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Moon if I want to plant several different kinds of tomatoes, but I don't want to get them crossed how far apart should I plant them?

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Last time I saw Dave was Friday in beginner Houseplants

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Sorry, kid needs the computer...gotta go. Catch y'all later...BYE

Jesup, GA

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

I was just trying to sort them out so now so I'm not putting it off 'til spring, and trying to plan my MIL little veggie garden for her now, but all I managed to do was give myself a bigger headache, I kept finding seed packets with just botanical names and go look them up for probably the bazillionth time, figure out what they were and then loose the packet before I got to write the common name on it
Typical trying to do too many things at one time and you never really accomplish anything deals. all while Amanda was playing dress up with the clothes in my closet

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

it is never a good sign, even with teenagers, when everything suddenly goes silent....I think I'll go see what the 3 that are home are up to....especially since Kenny and Mandy normally sound like several heards of elephants on the move even when they're sleeping..talk to ya'll tomorrow...got some questions about raised Gardens...My MIL don't always get along, but she likes a small veggie garden, but trying to figure out how to make it easier on her, she's a wee bit older than my mom and it's just a bit harder on her to do all that bending over...it's not big just about 4' x 6' she wants tomatos, sweet peppers and basil...anybody have any suggestions I would appreciate it greatly

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Trina, read this link.

http://www.humeseeds.com/vegplan.htm

Also see 'Vegetable Planting Chart' lower on that page.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

thank you...she's not supposed to lift her arms any higher than about 45 degrees, and I taught austin the difference between her veggie's so he can weed it for her, but well you know yourself, there's nothing like being able to do it yourself. just wondering if a raised bed, where she could sit on the sides of it would be easier...we have all the stuff to build one...just wondering. One of the Few things her and I can talk about is veggies...but NOT houseplants...she doesn't believe in them

(Zone 5b)

good morning everybody! who wants coffee? Smiley wakey wakey!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm up! I'm up! I was reading about Gorse calling you crazy. She don't know you like we do...

Trina, there's a whole forum on accessible gardening, for people with handicaps of various sorts.

(Zone 5b)

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Morning ladies, another busy day ahead, just trying to catch up. Moon so sorry about young mans car accident. Hopefully your GS will remember stuff like this when he does climb behind the wheel. Cute goat ya got there, and loved the staircase pics, I too loved the bookcase idea pretty neat. Lynnie GB House was awsome! Venice would loved to have seen you and friends putting yours together bet that was a hoot! Smiley sounds like concert went well and proud of DD as usual. Trina I think thats great you are helping MIL plan a garden. Dixie you need to have stock in WallMart lol. Joy the Dukes home was fabulous, nothing that big her except maybe a few rich people estates. I will try to find a pic of the most popular Biltmore Estate, owned by the Vanderbilts and post a picture. JJ your hair looks great and you look 10 years younger!
