I really want a pygmy goat...would never have to cut grass inside the fence again...grin

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Wow, I'd get dizzy climbing those staircases. I liked the bookshelf one, though.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I did too. And I think I may have to go look at all those links down the right side too....grin I did like the slide stairs...wahhoo!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I wouldn't want to try and keep those glass stairs clean.....

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Can you imagine the smudges? I bet the GS's would love the slide stairs, probably drive ya crazy in the process...lol

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I am sure they would love them. get the husband right on it..lol
You have a good day and sneak in a nap.

Need to get things done then off to the Christmas program
Have to run to town after that, going to be a busy day.
DH set pork chops out, think he is trying to tell me something...hmmm not getting the hint.

Catch you later.

Jesup, GA

That little girl has a most beautiful voice! I would love to have one of those little goats. Got enought critters over here though. I think I like the spiral stairs that look like smooth white pebbles the most, all though all are beautiful. If ya have virtigo better watch out on a couple of them I saw. If it was me I'd land on my head. Grin.....

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I hear ya. JJ have a great day and be too careful. Clap really loud for all of us at the program.

Vertigo would apply to most of those...grin. None of them had much to hold on to....I need a railing...big time...grin.

How are the Poos? bet they are gonna love the warm rain...IF Lester Commando lets Timmy and the girls go out to play....grin

Jesup, GA

Ole Gert will knock Lester six ways to Sunday! Lester has learned not to mess with her. And some times when he gets to close she will do it for the heck of it. She's the bowling ball, and Lesters the pin! Grin.....Is little Tooters keeping his head above water?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I haven't seen him this morning. From all the noise last night I think he had a bit of a party. Must be sleeping in...grin Know he will be out later though, 70 degrees and sun this morning...more rain this afternoon. Got some apple. lettuce and a couple of half drowned worms for him and a fat juicy grub for the hangover...grin

Jesup, GA

LOL! I can just see Tooters all hung over after his party. I know he appreciated the food, especially the grub for his hang over. Grin.....I dont know about you but I'm more than ready for some sun shine! Hope your DH is doing o.k. after all of the bad news. You guys try to get ya some rest today. I know you have to be tired after being up most of the night.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Hi Dixie,
Got a few minutes here before the hair gets rinsed and wholla instant youth...
Cameras charging and working on my Come all Ye Faithful cuz they do it every year..grin

If you are real lucky I might even let someone take my picture...don't get to excited probably won't happen...

You get 70°. I get 34° but at least it's not raining..

Jesup, GA

I have some more stuff to do. Gotta go to Wally World.....thats always an experience, never know what ya might see in there. Grin..I'll be back later have a good day all.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Thanks, DH slept...that is how he processes things. He had to work today. I will sleep really soundly tonight, too much to do today.

MIL called. She is in Hog's Heaven...FIL had a fender bender...he is fine, but his truck is not and she couldn't be happier that he won't be able to drive anymore, he is 85, but then complained that she is going to have to do all the grocery shopping and errands that he used to do...swear, she is never happy...lol

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Looking forward to a pic JJ...at least the back of your newly youthful head...grin

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Glad he is OK moon.
Last thing you guys need today is more bad news.
Of course that may be bad news she might want you to start driving her.....

Jesup, GA

Looking to see those pictures JJ's. Have fun and see all a bit later. Did get all of my x-mas done yesterday, finally! Be careful and keep warm!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

See ya later Dixie. Be careful...

JJ, she lives 60 miles from us...she would only want DH to take his dad places...all she ever wants from me is new plants and garden work...grin

I am her Yardgirl....grin

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

One picture from behind of new youthful hair better wear my skinny jeans or it won't be the hair you will notice..LOL

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hi everyone,good evening/afternoon,as 7.45 here:}hope you're all having a good sunday.
Moon, those staircases are amazing,I could do with the bookcase one:},interesting website.
Pygmy Goats are georgeous arn't they, the 2 I know,Scarlett and Tiffany, share their home with Timmy who Ipictured here the other day. They're both have a lovely ,sweet nature. They just wont stand still to have their photo taken :},so this is the best I've got of them
Back in a few mins
Joy.

Hi Joy...hope you are having a good evening. Would hate to try to keep those glass ones clean as JJ said. grin

The fellow we are getting the pygmy from says they make lovely pets and can be rather like a dog once they get settled. I am hoping so, as Christina really wants to make it a pet.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Joy, Timmy, Scarlett, and Tiffany have a beautiful home with the nice fence, pattern of pavers, grass, stones, and a big rock. I wouldn't mind a little garden like that!

So sorry Moon and Dixie. My thoughts are with you.

This morning, it looked like a little white bird was walking on water of the lake. Those birds kind of look like sea gulls but I know they can't be. Anyway, it was raining last night, so there was water on top of the ice. It really looked like that bird was walking on water! So funny!

I guess it is going to be around 40 degress the rest of the week. Hope it dries up a bit. Never got my mulch down! But shopping and stuff comes before gardening now!

Later!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Thanks so much, Venice. The family is just devastated. He was the oldest child.

Those may be sea gulls. we see them now and then here and we are about 60 miles from big water, other than the Mississippi River, and I know they hang out there.

Dronfield, United Kingdom

Moon, yes, these 2 here are very tame and can be petted and from what I understand, that's usually the case with Pygmy goats,I don't think these 2 girls are unusual in that:}.
I definately agree about how awful it'd be trying to keep a glass staircase clean.They're the type of thing that look beautiful on a design feature in a magazine,but wouldn't be very practicle to live with day to day:}
It's been a bright cool 41f here today, went out for walk with Sam,only got to feel a bit cold about 3pm,when I think temp dropped, about 32,tonight apparently.Sleet's forcast for later in the week ,but so far no snow. The photo is of woodland on some land which is actually owned by The Duke of Devonshire, which may seem strange,as this is in the county of Derbyshire, about 20 mins in car from my home, however I believe he's more than 1 house and so maybe the other 1is in Devonshire :}or Devon as it's now called.

It must be lovely to walk that path, the sounds, the smell, and everywhere to look.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

What a lovely place Joy. Can't you just see Arthur and Lancelot cantering down the trail? Or maybe Robin of Locksley and hiss merry band?

We are in the high 60's here at 2:30 in the afternoon...saying 70's and more rain tomorrow....silly weather. Glad you got your walk in. I know you would have been sorely disappointed to miss another one...grin
Seems to me the Lords, Dukes, Barons, etc. all have at least a couple country homes...of course that may have changed in this modern economy.

Dronfield, United Kingdom

Moon, sorry, yes,I read of the car accident, ther's no words could describe how his family must be feeling.
Venice,thanks,glad you like the animals' home,my friend and her DH have really worked hard on it :},they've also 2 rare breed bigs and some hens,and their homes are pretty too:}
It must be strange to see those birds on the water atop the ice,I'm trying to visualise it :}We also get Sea Gulls here and i'm a fair way from the coast, not quite sure how many miles.
Here's a photo of The Duke's home,think they must've the builders in :}

I truly can not imagine heating homes of that size...assume it must be ancestral, or an ancestral acquisition. The sheer upkeep must be mind boggling.
