duc, I have never seen pelicans nest like that. I usually only see them out in or near the water. There were several small islands in the backwater area that had them and some other interesting birds nesting. Love the Quail I've never seen one of those. Of course I've never been to Calif. yet either. LOL

Duc-- love the rain drops on the berries and you should
be jumping up and down getting that berry perfectly
centered in the trasher's bill.
Nice cardinal Red and you too Hack.
Furry ones and yellow finches and hawks and swan
and a quail on a rock-- get up on a pear tree so we
can sing along.
These aren't turkey vultures like nanny's
but close. (bushtits-- I missed an even bigger gathering
running to get the picture-taker.)
