Could you please tell me how to eradicate inchmen? We have a large nest in our back garden which they occasionally move around (so we don't always know where they are) and I have been stung several times (very painful). Hope you can help.

Inchmen
Trevjan, I have been searching quite a bit to find info on killing bulldog ants (inchmen) All I find is mentions of using pesticides on the nests, but no mention of a specific pesticide.
For our red fireants here, we use pesticides composed of one or more of the following ingredients:
S-methoprene
Spinosad
Hydramethylnon
indoxacarb
You could try looking for pesticides in your area containing these chemicals. Good luck to you
I was wodering what "Inchmen" were. (Tasmanian Inchmen, Myrmecia esuriens)
Here "Amdro" (Hydramethylnon) Bait works on Fire Ants.
If you Google "How to get rid of bull ants", you will find a lot of advice.
I think in this case, Dave it may be the Myrmecia forficata. Either way, they are nasty critters
I was wondering too! LOL in my state we have Minutemen, not nearly as troubelsome ;)
SCOM....lol....Lynnie
