Hi everyone,is it am with you Gypsies still? 1pm here and my lunchtime, just a little chat break before I continue with my day.Nice and sunny here today, temp 46[again,getting boring!]
Rachel, that photo's lovely ,it's very similar to the kind of schene you might see walking in countryside local to me.Walking is one of my main hobbies and I love all aspects of nature, animals ,trees plants, everything and like to be out in countryside as often as possible.
Dave, that house Gecko's a beautiful little lizard, was he/she in your house?,wish they lived here :},send some more reptile photos please if you can.
I hope you all have a good day,I'm off for a swim later this afternoon.Didn't go earlier as had a good few errands to do,time of year and all that....
I'll hopefully talk later.
Take care
Joy......Rachel,I've tried to capture the similarity of schenery here.

Just gone 7AM here Joy. The continental US is divided into 4 times zones. Smiley, Lynnie, Rachel, Flowers, Dixie and Venice are in the Eastern time zone.
JJ, Seed, Trina, Kassy, Rev Jim and I are in the Central time zone. Followed by Mountain time and Pacific time. Eastern is 1 hour ahead of Central, 2 ahead of Mountain and 3 ahead of Pacific.
Then there is Dave in Hawai'i and if I remember correctly, he would be right about 12 hours behind you...

This little guy was hanging out in the orchids.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Good morning ladies, Wow moon gonna have to put that on my refrigerator so I'll remember it lol. Lynnie do you ever sleep? JJ I'm with you, they would have to handcuff me and drag me out with a crane to get me in a gym that early lol. Dixie you hurry back and see us now you hear!!! Here Lizard, Lizard, Lizard cute little boogers. Joy I hope Theodore the tortoise and Beau pretty bird is finding fun in doors while it is cold. Its 47 degrees here and 8:50 here and I am gone to get my first cup of coffee. Dave and Rachael great pictures for sure. Have a good Day All, might find a bagel too.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Joy, I wouldn't mind taking your photo, a couple of Dave's and Rachel's too, and blowing them up to standard window size and plastering them over my windows.

I live in a suburban neighborhood and see my neighbors houses when I look out the windows!

All you mid-westerners keep safe and warm. Batten down the hatches, we get it after you. I see nasty stuff all over.

Moon, I wish I had lizards in my orchids! Heck, I wish I had orchids!

Everyone have a great day.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

That can be arranged Smiley....grin I could send you both....grin

Good Morning Flowers. How ya doing this morning?

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Good morning moon, sorry I jumped out for a bagel and cream cheese to get me going. Dreary here and think we are getting geared up for the rain you had Thanks Buddy lol

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Ohooooo a wiggly present Smiley, that would be better than a puppy and not near the upkeep lol

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

You are so welcome...it is just within my nature to share....grin This storm system seems to stretch from Texas right on out to the Atlantic....look out Joy....grin

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Have in laws in Texas, they very seldom get snow, but just got some and know they were estactic over it.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

We got a bit Friday night...that heavy, icy snow that falls in huge clumps...the ground was so wet from the earlier rain that the snow was very nearly gone Saturday morning. Our high today is supposed to be in the low 70's and weather alert for flash flooding....not a problem where I am, but the road out is much lower and the bridge has been under 6-8 feet of water before. Means we have to use the boat to go to grocery store...me gotta go row the pirogue down da bayou....grin

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Dixie Moon needs Poos floaties!!!!! This has been a wet year in central and eastern areas especially.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

70 that is wild, you are not that far from me and I'm freezing my tushi off.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

pirogue, I buy those at the grocery store. Big pasta with mashed potatoes inside lol

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Must be that mountain elevation....I am only 23 ft or so above sea level...I think you are a little over 2000 ft above sea level

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prairieville,_Louisiana

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Mais I didn know you could eat a pirogue....grin (the gue is sorta silent) lol

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

pirogy actually lol just didn't know what the other name meant lol

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Great link, elevation 23 ft? Is that a typo? As our elevations run 3500 and above.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

It is a small boat used for almost everything, hunting fishing checking traps, etc

http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.bertaut.com/wood_pirogue_boat.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.bertaut.com/gatorboats.html&h=194&w=355&sz=20&tbnid=-_Ij03j_LNeNCM:&tbnh=66&tbnw=121&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dpirogue%2Bboat&usg=__EnYt6bJHCzBE6gpRjqJFAraj-TE=&ei=_W0eS66eN5qutgemjdCYCg&sa=X&oi=image_result&resnum=7&ct=image&ved=0CBYQ9QEwBg

Nope, it is not a typo....I live right close to the level of the sea....grin at least I am higher than New Orleans, most of which is at or below sea level.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Ok here is my state, Joy may enjoy these, a long read tho I warn ya.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Carolina

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Oh, do you think we should do the links for our town, or our state or both?

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Will do states for now and if she wants more we can post towns later I think.
