They have it at Lazy SS (the one with great reviews on Watchdog) but getting 2 for my holiday gift would cost me $19 for plants and another $18-19 for postage....hard to handle that 2nd amount!
American Meadow has it on sale, but didn't get such good reviews for plant delivery quality.
Not gonna even check michigan bulb or brecks due to not such great experience years ago.
Anyone have idea of where to get a couple of nice ones, without the high postal cost.?
I am going to check with American Meadows to see if they have upgraded their packing, but......
Where to get toad lily-Blue wonder
I dont want to turn your question into a rant about American Meadows but Every one of the plants I ordered came with problems. I would try any other garden store but them.
OHHH yes everything died, the plants were so small they didnt survive.
Have you tried Plant Scout?
I see Lazy SS is the only one who has it.
I bought a blue toadL from Bluestone but it was more lavander than blue.
HI, thanks will try PlantScout..haven't used it before.
ge1836..not a rant..I was not impressed with feedback re:unlive plants..seem to do better with seeds...but I can get my own croaked plants...just look out my door to see what I didn't get in the house in time!!!:(
I may just go with LazySS....Need to adjust priorities..a few less sweets= something sweet for my garden!!!
Marcia G! Thanks for the enabling "less sweets" remark.
I have been paring down my garden budget to save for a bath remodel.
Sweets is an area that has been sacred until now. I am diabetic and dont really need them( pray for me thru the holidays).
I will rework the garden budget,Thanks
You are welcome..I need to keep my blood sugar down...was scary high once. Having lived with my foster family and watching those I love struggle with it..certainly can relate. I have gained immense amt of weight since my fibromyaliga and bone problems..so will also be watching the calories..
Prayers for less sweets and more plants :)
Went with Lazy $$
You wont be sorry.
Ya gotta have what ya gotta have.
Check with Pine Knot Farms. Thay have it listed. I don't know what the shipping is, but they won't over charge.
