It won't cost anywhere near that Flowers. I mailed a package to SIL in Sacramento a few weeks ago and somehow the charge for postage went through on my card 3 times....post office gave me a postage credit voucher...

Hey Joy! An Almond Joy is the same as Mounds. Except Mounds doesn't have the almonds and it is covered in dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. AND Mounds is the same as a UK Bounty bar. At least that is what the Internet said.

Well Smilely can get a cheaper rate on shipping rate. I put a pk of kool-aid in a Christmas Card today and was gonna try to smuggle it that way but line was out the door so didn't find out the cost of mailing just a card. So we have decided being we want to send a couple of things then box shipping will work out better in long run.

Global priority is probably best way to go...otherwise it goes by freighter...ya know the old slow boat to China....lol

Would like to see her get it before next July for sure. And get this, have to fill out customs papers at post office to mail.

I heard that on Black Friday Toys R Us had a glitch and was charging peoples cards twice for sam purchase. One person found out because the bank called her and said she was overdrawn.

Good gimmick... on sale cheap but pay twice....

JJ that just happend here yesterday. Woman went to groc. store spent 10 dollars, checked on line banking next day and 200$ was taken out of acct. Seems lady in front of her got cash and clerk charged wrong credit card.

Yep Flowers...customs forms for anything shipped out of country....whole lotta red tape...I have a shipping book and a ton of different forms for shipping to Australia....and they refuse to allow grits into the country...how backward is that? Grin

weird looking in a good way Dave, I had 3 seeds for a black one I put in a little green house like container, I didn't know they came in white, green, and brown too....I like anything weird looking I'm not SUPPOSED to grow in the house...LOL

Anything other than a letter or card requires custom papers....learned that pretty quick.

Plus the custom paper will ask for State. and country
In Germany the postal code is for the state like our zip code is for town.
I had the code but not the name of state so I had to look it up.
