i have moonhowl to back me on this one,,the accent is only accessable on sunday nights after '''too''' many'wee drams',,,,i picked up a bit from a correspondent'edna' in dumfries SCOTLAND...up near 'nessie',she really speaks like that,as most''jordies' do,..sometimes i have to stop and work out the words....i'm as australian as a meat pie and sauce,or an old victa mower,sorry,but ye nevr know when the raving 'scot' may rear its ugly head...ach-eye...anthony

I hear ya Anthony...grin have some soccer buddies from Scotland...most times no problem, but when Donald gets excited, even his Scots mates canna nae unnerstan im. grin. Do pretty well when we are in Queensland, but every now and then meet someone and have to have my SIL translate...not so much the accent as the colloquialisms. but LORD Anthony...how do you handle meat pies? grin
