My hubby and I went to visit my son, daughter in law, and grand daughter in Dothan Alabama this past weekend. We went to a flea market and found a lady who was selling her plants for 3.00 each! I got a large umbrella tree, a bromeliad, some kind of small palm tree (the kind that has the large ball at the bottom, stays close to the ground but grows kinda large. I added these to the plants that I have around my round bathtub that has a sky light over it - where I keep all my indoor plants. Now I just have to get more pots to put them in and because I bought a potter's wheel while in AL I will be able to make my own unique pots to put them in (after I heal from my neck fusion in about 2 more weeks). I wish I had bought more of her plants now...lol

Pretty growing area!!
yep...I feel like I'm entering a jungle when I take a bath. Now all I need is to cage it in and let my iguana and boa loose in there!! lol...
That would be pretty neat. You'd have to make sure that one wouldn't eat the other, though, lol.
hhuuummm...I didn't think of that...
scarediecat. that is soo cool, I too have a round bathtub with skylight that I store my plants around in winter. Thinking since I don't use it and grandkids are getting to big mabe filling it with dirt and having indoor flour garden. What do ya think?
interesting idea Flowers! Or water plants...LOL
flowers...that's a great idea!!
I had thought about putting some fish in mine but it is the only bathtub in the house and I lllooovvvee a hot bath when I'm cold!
Also thought about putting up a plastic clear shower curtain and keeping a small finch in there but hubby said he is afraid the finch will wake us up a lot:)
