It was 18 this morning when I got up....yuck!

I had moved the finch feeder up closer....they have finally found it again!

Boy have been having LOTS of these! Really LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nanny, oops, those are both the same chickadee shots. Send me some of those Titmice. the ONE I saw earlier this year has not returned! boo hoo.

The weather is cold and lots of birds at the feeders this a.m. FOS Pine Siskens with a pair of House Finches.

A Goldfinch and Tufted Titmouse.

Hack, the male Lesser Goldfinch has a green back while the American Goldfinch has pure yellow-at least that's how I tell them apart. We have both here in our area, but we're seeing more Lessers.

GP, your little Starling looks cold and wet-poor baby. Love the Grackles and buddies too!

Burd, I had to laugh at your little story. My birds do the same thing here-just sit at the empty feeder and stare at me through the window. LOL Great wp and hawk.

Mrs Ed, cute little creeper. Yes, we do live close to the lake. We also have lots of brush and many different bird attracting trees.

A Great Blue Heron was hunting for breakfast.

An American Goldfinch looking very noble.

A card, white-winged dove, and two House finch enjoying a meal together. I couldn't get them to pose at the same time:)
