Oh crap, it finally happened-----after 288 days with less than an inch of snow, last night the shoe, or rather the snow fell, wet and heavy, my oldest son shoveled but by the time I got out there the snow plow had piled a foot of ice and slush across the driveway. Oh well----here we go I guess---------------Weedy

Just poured here, man was it coming down, extremely windy, blew my bird feeders over. It is a gorgeous 55 degrees right now and sunny!
Wish I was in Jersey, Jen! How's this for weird? Roses in the snow....we got about 6" before it turned to rain, shoveling the walks was backbreaking! Felt like wet cement.
Temp has been sitting at 41º for a while now. Just a light drizzle if that now. Gusty winds have not developed yet but the fog has and is getting thick as the warmer air hits the cold slushy water soaked snow. Pushed some of the heavy slushy stuff off the front walk and top of drive. Its very heavy stuff for sure. Push don't lift it if you can help it.

just got confirmation that we had 10" of snow here as i said earlier. temp is right around freezing right now.
A lot of minus' there! It says 30 right over my area. After the thorms, if it freezes, it will be a skating rink around here!

lol how about t'storm? we got 7 inches of snow, then torrential downpours with lightning, I didn't hear any thunder. Supposed to be in the 20's tonight so should be good & icy tomorrow, if anybody feels like skating.

Don't know, it was after dark. Maybe it was the snow clouds. DH and I have never seen green lightning before.
neither have I, it sounds cool! unless, of course it's from a cloud of toxic gas or something like that.

Our lightning was very intense---had 2 dogs to comfort. And me. Today was pretty sunny, 38, & quite windy---nice walking, though---cleared some of the Christmas cobwebs.
Intense here too, Robin. Rabbit had to comfort me...LOL!
