He deserves it. He is good boy. He let's me dress him up and also he loves to be groomed. I brush them all down on the day they get their feet trimmed. Give them Cookies if they don't show out too much, then give them cookies anyway. That's why they are so rotten.

I made cookies for Duke. We will have enuff to last three years at this rate. I took the turkey carcass ( smoked) and boiled it down , deboned it, took the stock and meat and mixed up with flour, pnut butter, cheese powder and made a big huge bowl of dough. dropped onto cookie sheet and baked. hope the kids don't come here while I am gone and think they are pnut buttr cookies. Duke loves them. After baking about ten minutes I took them out and criss crossed them down and stuck them back in to cook until dry. He really really likes them. Making some up for all the dogs in the extended family for christmas. FUN!

I know they love their fresh made cookies too.
These longears eats lots of things I never ever thought they would.
Sure helps the farrier out when he comes to do their feet.
I sort of hold my breathe because I never know what they are going to do,
makes life very interesting sometimes. They are FUN!!

I wish I had a farm again and a few horses, cows, lambs and a donkey. I would be in heaven. I have good memories of the times I lived on a farm, tho.

Hi Charleen, I don't think it's the flu. I think it's justa cold.Started yesterday and hasn't gotten any better.One of the grandkids was starting to get sick when she was here over Thanksgiving, and I guess I'm getting it now.

We had rain here most of the day. Fixed my DH a bowl of
Speghetti Salad. Pretty good. Also some Turkey Gumbo
Noodle soup.

It has been raining all day over here. And COLD. You can see your breath. We are having bean soup for dinner. For us, we call the last meal of the day dinner. And the middle one lunch. Kind of a depressing day. Got a kick out of your pic's though.

I am finished bringing in plants, if I forgot it it will have suffer the cold. It is turkey leftovers for me. Maggi is under the weather and is already lights out. I'm not much for cooking but I have never starved.

Once so far. A lovely bracelet, a cp, and creamsickle brug. You were going to send me some seeds I thought. My memory sucks sometimes too. Can't remember what I had for breakfast. Lol. Now thats bad. We brought all our plants in a month ago. It was suppost to get cold, but then it didn't. We just left them in.

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for the well wishes. I think I might just live now..lol...Feeling lots better today. I have done nothing but sleep for the past couple days.
We got our first snow last night, big beautiful flakes, but they melted as soon as they hit the ground

Good morning, glad your feeling better, now to get my wife feeling better. It seems like just a cold but they are no fun. We had our first freeze last night and it is going to be in the low 20s Saturday morning. WE set out three boxes on Monday and everyone got theirs. Maggi just posted the add in the classifieds and now it is too cold to even ship here in the state. That's the way it goes sometimes.

Ken, what will you do with your cutting now, grow them out, and sell plants in the spring? It's a shame, cause I just know that everyone, would love your cuttings! I am so happy with mine! So big and strong.

I still want to mail Dee's pakg. Think it will be o.k., just getting ready to leave.
Got to get some good soil for those starts, I am so proud, I want them to do great. Made some labels last night
but got a lot more to make. Ken sent me a nice assortment of brugs, Dee. We will be swapping all year round.

I do not know the temps up there, better check with Dee but I would think it's a bit too cold. It is getting down to 23 here on Saturday morning. As far as the cutting, they are in water, on the floor of the hoop-house and should be just fine for a very long time. There will be some warmer days this Winter where we can ship. We have Hydrogen Peroxide in the water and they will be rooting, so people who have to wait will get rooted cuttings. I am spraying with the recipe every day and they look good.

then I may just let her wait. I don't want to take the risk of them freezing.

I have been a little under the weather, sorry to have worried you, I just got done with my tree yesterday, I way feeling weak so I went back to bed, I had a good nights sleep, had my DD install a webcam to my computer, so I can see the happy smiles at Christmas, my DD is coming in with her 3 children, so all my GK's will be here, & all my DD's
so I had to get better quick. I think what made me sick, was my GD got the h1n1 vaccine the day before Thanksgiving
I did find out why you can't leave Brugs in the ground in my & Dees zone, that hard frost Friday the 27th did the Brug
I had in the ground in, now I know

we didn't get any snow, it was chilly though, I am glad your snow didn't stick. hey have you been to lowes lately, I had to go get some salt for the water softner, they had a 72 peat pot mini GH with a heat mat, they also sell rion GH's, I did not know that, I ask the girl about it, she said they had been selling them for some time now, anyway I got the mini GH
next payday I will get another one, so I am ready to start seeds

I haven't been to Lowes in ages.The closet one is about 35 miles away. How much were the mini greenhouses, with the heat mat? I take it that they are re-usable, with new peat pots. They sound great!

you two have keeping up with me.☺ Ken sent me some Brugs and Lordy, girl I am going to have a collection and lots to share. Was going to send some to Dee but the weather got too cold to send them so I took them out of the mailer a second time and am going to root them for her. Been a busy week got to makea list for you all too of what I have.
