I got a bunch of little suculents, I offered them $10.00 for a shelf of what they had left, so I got them for 90% off, so I planted a 10gal aquraiun up will post Pic's of them tommorrow, anyway the girl wanted to charge me 57 cents each
I told her you're charging me $2.00 for this big one & you want 57 cents for the small ones, so she said how about 20 cents each, so I said that's better, anyway I got a bunch of them for $9.00, that was quite a haul

It is 9:pm, everyone is gone home or in bed. I am still at my brother's house in Fort Worth. He invited everyone over for Thanksgiving and decided to remodel his dining room eleven days ago. It is an all hone and needs lots of work and he is fixing it up room by room. In the dining room he had cracks in the sheetrock, new window sills to install, new wood flooring, tile in front of the front door, all new molding and of course everything had to be painted. Everyone said it could not be done but the do not know my brother. I stopped painting at two last night and was painting again of seven this morning. Dinner was a tad late at 2:pm and everything was great. Pictures when I get home. Soooo much to be thankful for. Life is good. Good night.

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Wake up girls, it's 7:30 and I'm heading home.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Good morning to all. Sorry I missed you.
My baby brug seed flopped over. I filled the pot up with soil
and hope for the best. It didn't look bad at the root, maybe it was
just week from being so tall. It still looks green.

Morning everyone.Ken, sounds like you had a busy Thanksgiving...sure it can be done. When we moved in our 100 year old house it was a mess, but you would never know that it's the same house now.
Charleen, is your seedling just leaning bad, or does it have like a bad bend in it, at the soil line. If it is just leaning, it may just be reaching for light. If it is bending bad at the soil line, it may be damp off. Here's alink that tells about damp off:

Sheesh, thats a long link. Kim, I finished my cleaning up this AM.My oldest daughter and her family is still in, but they are all napping, after a morning of shopping.

Ken, did the EE's make it, or were they shriveled up to nothing? The one was tiny..Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

That may be what it was, but maybe it will get little roots and make it anyway, I'm hoping.
Think I'll plant the ones you sent me Dee. I know I have plenty to plat. Got a message
from Mr. George, he is going to cut his brugs back this weekend.
I hope most of mine make it, but do have some wrinkled ones, Hey, Kim and Karen and Ken

And , Charleen and Elizabeth, my oldest daughter was asking what I wanted, and I told her that I couldn't think of a thing, but when I was in the shower, my husband told her that I had been watching Eddiedewaynes auctions, and had a couple marked to watch. So later she told me that she won one and to go pick the 3 cuttings that I wanted.I picked Doosie(!!), Confusion( cause my cutting rotted)and Angel's Swingtime...whooohoooo!

That is great Charleen! You are going to have a tropical paradise! You will have them planted everywhere!
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

We are going to have so many Brugs, I can't believe how many we got in such a short time.
I love Dave's and all his people. Very Generous people..
Charleen.

My husband better teach me how to operate that pole hole auger so I can dig holes with it.
I can go get my nephew, he will help me.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Great idea Charleen!...I know you can do it! Yes, it is amazing how many we have gotten in such a short time. Aren't brug people the nicest people? We sure aren't newbies anymore...well just to growing them we are..lol
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

That is so right. May still get a couple more too.
We learn from each other too. That helps a lot
to have someone to ask questions and get answers.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Oh, I know, you will get all you want next summer...lol Yes, this forum is great for talking to people and learning about brugs!

Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

The cubbyhole under my desk has no room for feet, but have plenty of plants.
Never had that may plants. I wanted to go to plant Dee's plants she sent me and I saw one shiriveled up stub, when I pulled it up it looked like it might make it, so I shoved it back in the bottle and saved it. The bottom looked like it may have chance to live so , I'll let it try.
Elizabeth you think If I fill that pot with soil the baby may form roots. I am afraid it has that damp-off.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Hey, girls, I'm gonna go throw together supper...beef manhattens...yummm.Will be back in a little in an hour or so.

I am not sure, this time of year I don't transplant, Just in the spring, do you know which one it was, maybe I have some
seeds, that you can plant
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Elizabeth, as if I need another plant☺ It is that little Summer Sunrise.
It still looks o.k. I put some peat around it to hold it up. I got a lot of starts
So please don't worry about it. I'm still going to have a lot of plants.
Charleen
