I have a few hybrid Adenium different colors. They are growing in my open balcony during summers they get 2-3 hrs of early sun light but winters they only get an hour of early sun light some days no sun light at all. They get a lot of dew drops .
Few of the plants have bloom in winters . Like to know what amount minimum sun light is needed for adeniums to bloom.
Do Adeniums bloom in less or no sun light ?
They're generally listed as full sun, so it wouldn't surprise me if they bloom less in an area that only gets 2-3 hrs of light than they would in an area that got more, but at least it looks like you're getting yours to bloom. They might not bloom as much in winter regardless of how many hours of sun they get, so if you're happy with the amount of blooms you get during the rest of the year then you probably don't need to change anything. But if you do decide to move them to a sunnier area, make sure to adjust them gradually to the increased light levels, otherwise the leaves can sunburn.
Thanks for your reply. Does dew help in blomming ? Do you think i should put them in full sun.
Dew wouldn't have any effect on blooming. As far as moving them to more sun--I'll stick by my original comment. If they're blooming well during other times of year besides winter I would leave them where they are. It's not at all uncommon for plants to bloom less during the winter so I don't know that putting them in more sun is going to change that. If they bloom poorly all year round then putting them in more sun might help, but in your pictures it looks like they have plenty of flowers now.
Thanks a ton for your comments it would be of great help to me.
