This Juvie Cooper's Hawk showed up today and was showing some interest in the compost and wood pile. I was hoping it might be looking for some mice!

Wasn't too terribly spooked by me when I ventured outside for a different view.

Spied something overhead.

Mrs Ed, your hawk is gorgeous! I love the way the feathers look so soft. Nice job, hope it found a mouse.

Now it's spreading to the Hummingbirds! Three Hummingbirds seen at Cape May Point, 1 Ruby-throated, 1 Selasphorus (probably Rufous) and another just a few blocks past the park.

Haha Burd! I forgot to mention the Eurasian Wigeons too. Wish I lived closer.

Nanny, I'm pretty low on birds too except for Titmouse which there seem to be loads of around.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if all my regulars high-tailed it to NJ, we're expecting snow overnight and there has been a cold rain falling since last night. Very burrry
