I have been looking for somewhere to take local gardening classes. Having trouble finding what I want. Even the local Botanical Gardens only advertises School Field Trips under the Education tab, same with our Public Gardens, "Bellingrath Gardens and Home." I will call them to see if there are any other classes. --
In the meantime I have been looking at taking Landscaping Gardening Course.

If you want to take classes locally, you might check your local community college (or university if there's one in the area). Out here many of the community colleges have horticulture programs although I'm not sure if that's true everywhere. The scope of the programs varies between schools so if you've got more than one school not too far from you I'd look at all of them to see which one best meets your needs.
You might also check out the Master Gardener program. There is a site here on DG, you could get info there or through your county agent.
