I do NOT know who my mother and my little sister thought they were trying to fool but I kinda exploded on both of them at the hospital today!

You see the 8th floor at St. John's hospital here is the cancer ward. they both kept saying it was just her appendix just like amanda....except they removed my sisters appendix AND 3 FEET of her lower intestine....now I am not stupid, they do not put overflow ER patients on the cancer ward floor....they also do not keep patients who have NO insurance in a private room on the cancer floor with a missive IV drip of Morphine AND vicodin for more than 6 days.... and NO OFFENSE to any of you who are "larger", but fat people who weigh over 300 pounds do NOT loose over 100 pounds in LESS than 30 days without something a little more SERIOUS than just an appendix being wrong!

Lynnie forget dinner and order a pizza. Sauce comes in a jar its called Prego, its already all in there. Glad I could help :) Oh and beef stew comes in a can!

Venice duck is what my German friend usually has, but can't do it herself anymore, and potato dumplings. I think I need Moon or Lynnie to cook for them. Anyone but me I haven't a clue how. Its the thought right. well I thought about it.

You are getting really lucky lately at the GW stores. Thats Good but they get addictive.

they are testing her for 3 different kind of cancers she has a rampant infection that caued gang green in the intestine which is what started the appendix to go south, and they are talking about putting in a colostomy bag....but still no answers except they don't know what's wrong and are only letting her have ice since tuesday night

sounds like intestinal ischemia, are they thinking she threw clots?

I don't know but they are thinking they may have to go in and remove more...and I heard the tech say something about pancreatic cancer that has spread....I'm just going to wait and see what they say

can't have pizza, hubby is allergic. I hate sauce from a jar. Beef stew is part of Mother's xmas present (basket of homemade soups she can keep frozen & heat when she needs them, along with a book & gift card). Defrosted the stew meat & had to cook it. Cookies are DONE. Yikes. I'm done too.

oh yeah and of course I HAD to stop at the nursery on the way into springfield and I just HAD to give tose plants a home!

Ok Moon How do I carefully go about extracting these orchids from thier pots and attaching them to a log?

I got anothe Fire Ranch aloe that has a ton of babies in the pot A good sized cactus, a philo brasil and some paper white bulbs, and a seed mat/ dome thingy to start my passie seeds in!

Have to check that out Moon.
He needs to read more, but so far haven't found anything that keeps his interest.

alright back is killing me

You will need poultry wire to make a pocket to hold the plant and a good growing medium. After placing the plant, use a bit of wire to secure it in the pocket.

Talking about books. Today I remembered there was a Half Price Book Store by the Mall, a couple of miles from me. I may take back a couple of GW books if I can find something better there. I will look at the kids books also. I have until Wednesday for GW returns. It will be crazy at GW on Dec. 5th with everything at 50% off! The only things I want now are a pretty box for the Hummel and a porcelan flower for my fairy.

My False Shamrock,Oxalis triangularis is trying to bloom. But it has been so dark, I am sure they are waiting for a sunny to open.
