I was a lurker too at one time.

I don't pop in as much at times, especially when I'm on my rotation to work. As soon as my rotation at work ends, I'll be back more.
It usually takes me all morning to catch up with the posts, and then it's my bed time.

Jean, I think my Simba would probably take a Koala on. He has ALL his claws, as a girl at the vets office found out when he was in for his operation............LOL
And he is being pretty feisty today. I told the poor dog to stay out of his way.
This was him during recovery, saying "Mom, please let me out".

Kassy, 'ole Simba looks pretty good! Recovery going well? Is DIL checking for lumps yet?

I bought an orchid before I found DG. We had redone our bathroom (from hand painted smiley faces all over the walls - good gracious, it took me 10 years to get them to let me paint over it) and it was a nice green - kind of a forest green. The shower curtain had maroon in it, so I bought an orchid that had maroon flowers. it looked real nice till the flowers started falling off & the leaves shriveled up.

So no more orchids for me!

Moon I've been singing that darn song all day!

when will I learn not to go to the grocery store from the gym?

Twas the week before Christmas and all through DG
Not a forum was idle, the members could see

Dixie was snuggled up with her poo’s-they’d been fed
While Trina’s visions of plant sprouts danced in her head
JJ was painting that Santa’s yellow leg
While Kassy was taking Footless’ last egg

When then on the web there arose such a noise
You’d think there were children playing with toys!
Warnings posted to admins, they didn’t forsee
The DG Magic with every Gypsy

The fun and camaraderie had caught up to us, and
We were all whisked away to a fairy tale land
To all be together for some fun, just a little
We could talk and laugh and eat every last vittle

With a very nice lady who led them all, Moon!
‘Hurry up’ she said, ‘it may end too soon’
‘let’s enjoy all this fun while we can, yes indeed’
‘Let’s get this party going, starting with Seed’

‘Hurry Venice, and Lynnie, Hurry JJs and Dave’

So away they all went to the land of the Dave’s Garden
Where the soil was just perfect and the clay did not harden
They laughed and they sang silly songs ‘cause they could
They ate all the chocolate Dave made, oh so good!

Then as the dawn did slowly appear
They knew that the end of their night was drawn near
Lynnie was tired from chasing Lester Poo
Her fuzzy warm socks were no longer new

As they said their goodbye’s to the land of DG
They knew the rest of their time here could be
As much fun as they had had, all together at last
