I moved into a new home in July. There were about 15 of these growing outside around a pole. They stand about 2 feet tall and have thin leaves all the way down the stem. They smell wonderful, too. I have been trying to figure out what they are with no luck. Someone said Allium, but I don't think so. At least not what I have saw online. I read Allium smells like onion when you break the stalk.....this one doesn't. I love them and want more. If someone knows please let me know. And if you know, how do I get the seeds to replant some? Thanks a bunch!

I need help identifying this flower
It's Phlox paniculata.
Yes, you are right - alliums nearly always (there are hundreds of species) smell like onions or garlic.
Thanks so much. You guys on here really know you're stuff. I'm in the process of making my thumb a little greener :)
