So tell me what these next two are please...
First... I now know that the bird on the right is a Semi-Palmated Plover.
What is the bird on the left?
DAILY PICS - VOL 257
I'd provisionally say Western Sandpiper for the first, though not 100% sure (any more pics of it?). Second is Greater Yellowlegs.

Would we have a Western Sandpiper off the coast of Virginia? (I really don't know...)
I only have one other shot, but I don't think it's as good as the first.
Again the plover is with this other little guy... they seemed to really be attached to each other that afternoon.
The bird in question is on the right this time.
Thanks!
Hi VA, Yes you could have because I've seen them in Cape May.
Nice Shots Everyone!! GP like your collage of the PB's.
Dellrose, your Cardinal lol, he reminds me of the Coneheads on SNL. :)) and super nice shot of the Y-b SS!
Duc, so many bird's and always very nice shot's!
Pelle, nice shots of the Cooper's Hawk! Ive only been able to get one decent shot of the neighborhood Cooper's here since spring.
Adel nice shot of your S. Towhee, I have not seen a Towhee yet.
VA, nice shot of the S. Plover and the Sandpiper sitting together like that!
Burn, If I want to see my Black-caps, I have to be up by first light, then they come to the feeder, but as soon as the sun cracks the horizon their gone. I'm not lacking in Junco's that's for sure, just everyone else.
With field corn being harvested here there is no lack of Starlings, missed out on a swarm shot, but got a couple pictures.
Edited for grammar

I have just recently posted a few photos on this thread, from my recent return trip to Chincoteague.
I just completed an entire thread, over on the Mid-Atlantic Froum, with many other photos from the trip.
Please take a look if you would...

Very nice shots Burn, Burd and VA!
Nice ones nanny! The female Cardinals are so beautiful, I completely agree with you.
Nice shots Rose! That's so great to have them so close.
I really like the Cedar Waxwings... they are very pretty.
Lucky you...great pics rose!
Congratulations Mrs Ed!!!
They are so small! And what a different behavior they have than the white breasted!
Nice one adel!!!
:-) That will be a nice meal for him; they are adorable! Beautiful shots!
Thanks Pelle. Pretty overcast now, so I had to pump up the ISO, which I really hate to do on this camera. Still, I'm happy he/she is here. Hope it decides to stick around in my neighbor's spruce trees.
