adelbertcat, up at my "hunting" property we have lots of Wild Turkeys. You ain't lived until you've been in a deer stand when a flock of turkeys come feeding along - WOW - sounds like a herd of deer.

I have had a little Carolina Wren hanging around in the backyard. I have yet to get a phot of it. We usually don't have one in the yard until midwinter or so. I am sure hoping it will stick around!

LOL...I had sent this then plugged the camera in to upload photos and walked into the kitchen and there was the little wren right there on the deck by the sliding door! I can't win!! LOL

This Red-headed Woodpecker landed in the dead tree a little while ago...just stayed long enough to get this shot. I haven't seen one since spring!
