That's because they like clean breath.
Dreams
Why don't they eat the peanut butter I use for bait!!! Nasty mice.
I had a cooking the turkey dream - rather a nightmare. Hope it turns out OK tomorrow.
I'm sure everything will turn out fine.
I had a dream last night we moved to Mexico and it was spring, I wanted some spring flowers and I couldn't find out what zone we lived in, so I was just going to use the zone for the most southern part of Texas.
I think we're all having dreams like that now!
Of course that was just the beginning and then it got weird, I found a stray dachshund and they were accusing me of stealing it.
Had the loose tooth dream again...so very weird, had one loose tooth and one rotten one.
I had the school one again the other night. And, of course, I continue to pee all over the place. ^_^
Found this info on the loose tooth thing...
One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.
Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.
Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.
In the latest research, it has been shown that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.
Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition which may be applicable to some dreamers.
Other Perspectives
A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicate that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us
In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose, rotten, or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death.
According to the Chinese, there is a saying that your teeth will fall out if your are telling lies.
It has also been said that if you dream of your teeth falling out, then it symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you lose a tooth and leave it under the pillow, a tooth fairy would bring you money.
Now you're scaring me, Jen.
see but there are sooooo many differing theories, they don't really know what they mean.
I love the silliness of dreams and never worry about any meaning.
Ahhh money... if my dream teeth fall out and happenchance land under my pillow... ahh money. Good to know. I will hope for toothy dreams. Last night I dreamed that the dust bunnies and the stored stuff in the basement were chasing me and loomed up and tried to take me out. I woke up mighty quick and (click) on went the smiley face night light (did I mention I got a new smiley face night light to replace the blasaise one I had before?) Now methinks this dream is all about my total lack of dealing with dust bunnies and the stuff in the basement. The end. But maybe not? OMG if dust bunnies are symbolic!
funny
Good... laughing. Dust Bunnies = Dust Bunnies which means they are not symbolic and I am saved from therapy. ok next question. What does it mean if you see them when you're awake?
Means there is a need to chase them. I'm allergic to dust--must I chase?
irisMA they are under the bed! EEEK!! I thought we were never, ever to look under the bed! That's like the number one rule in horror movies: Never, Ever Look Under the Bed. Are you saying it MUST be done??? If so I wonder if DH will do it. He is very calm about things like that. I will wait outside with the cell phone. If there are blood curdling screams I will call 9-1-1. OMG death by dust bunnies. I am SO going to be riding nightmares tonight!
d-nut hope your dreams were free of dbs. Remember they multiply like hangers in your closet (another terror strike). Frankly I sometimes use a mask to chase dbs as I am allergic to dust--also that way they can't see who I am. :)
Last night I was dreaming that I was trying to invent a new style of jeans to hold the new
I-Pad. So I put a big pocket on the backside of a guys jeans to see how it would do. He bent over and cracked it in half. So I put the pocket on the frontside. He poked a hole through it. Guess that didnt work either.
See? Stay away from electronics!
Tough to lug a tower around, so I'll stick with it & enjoy the 'outside world'; at least until they develop a weeding machine.
WMPL (wet my pants laughing)
And robot 'companions'!
I dreamed I won a few million the other night. I had not claimed it and was just enjoying the knowledge that I had won! Can dreams come true???
would you be just as happy with the knowledge you let me claim it?
snort
Sherrie, that is FUNNY!
I had a dream I was sleeping in the neighbor's front yard.
Last year I was put on a CPAP machine because of sleep apnea, the funny thing is I started having dreams again, I never knew that somewhere along the time I had the apnea, I'd lost the ability! Doctor said that it was not uncommon since many people don't get REM sleep with apnea. Now I'm better rested and enjoying dreams again. Ric
Makes sense since apnea wakes you up so often, disturbs your sleep cycle.
I didn't get REM sleep when testing with the mask, so am mask free, thank heavens. I wake up several times a night & would hate to scramble out of that gear every dime.
Just had a nap and had one of those out of body dreams where you are trying so hard to wake up, but can't. Not very restful.
Any commercials?
Victor they say the out of body dreams.. are not really dreams at all.. astral projection
or gas
That sounds more impressive than dream!
