South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Just a few inches, maybe 3-4 here in Central Maine but the Mountans got more.
You ski? DS snowboards and was a grinning fool this morning!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

use to alpine ski - until i took cindy once and she snow plowed down the bunnie course - i like the bump trails (think demolition derby) so that was not going to work.- now i just backcounrty ski in the woods.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

no skies here
its hard enough just walking with a cane.
used to CC ski a little

I cant believe how the perennial snapdragons hang on.
Real troopers

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice, Jo. I hadn't thought of squirrels. Probably is.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Wish it was hawks, they are so much more dramatic than squirrls

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Glad the snow is melting.
Looks like a squirrel nest to me.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Very prettiful snowfall Pixie. Don't forget the outdoor grill or fire pit is very handy for making coffee when in desparate need due to power outages. Cool next Victor. Looks hawkish to me.

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Speaking of outages, looks like this may be the year I get a generator. The 300 orchids must have some heat. We had bad outages for days about a mile from here last year and I don't want to push my luck.

Thomaston, CT

Smart to get a generator, Kathy---I feel much better with ours---DH should not get chilled with an outage----you can only get so close to the fireplace---and we lose our water as well. I like that fusion JoAnn--post the birdhouse when finished. Pixie, your snow looks lovely, but I'm real happy it's in Maine!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Have to admit, that snow is pretty.

Greater number of leaves are down. 2nd batch so it doesn't looked like any raking was done. Service man working on dishwasher (glad to have it back) wanted to know what we do with our leaves. DH explained about the hole in our woods where he dumps them after using the lawnmower & nice resulting compost. town will pick them up in paper bags, but we like to use them instead. Same with christmas tree after N.Years.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Great pics tc. irisMA my leaves are stuck on the trees. They didn't turn colour just went from green to brown with a brutal temp dip and they aren't dropping. Funky weird.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Love that second one TC!

Nice pics, TC
