Hi everyone! Hope ya'll are all having a great Bingo game! I did have plans of playing since it's been a long time but I got busy and forgot. I've been googling and looking at pic's of a lot of the plants on Laura's call list and there sure are some beauties on there! I keep saying I might get back into growing a few Gessie's but have yet to haul the shelves and lights back in to set up!

Oooh Laura ... I would love the recipe for those butter cake cookies! College Basketball season is just beginning and my DH and I go to all the games at the college where he teaches. I will be getting back into baking for the team, cheerleaders, pep band and fans the next few months! I make Snickerdoodles every holiday season, one of my favorites! Those gooey butter cake cookies sound yummy and I would love to try them!

Well, good luck to everyone with the game! It's always fun at the end when most everyone seems to need the same ones!

Oh ... and it definitely helps to make a hat but you HAVE to post a picture of yourself in your hat for it to work! ^_^

Wow, you get sidetracked by one small state av show, and look what happens! Just got thru the list, and I have 5 of the picks so far!

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

How did it go for you at the show Nichole?

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

I took 4 plants . . . Blue Dragon, Bob Serbin, Rob's Sticky Wicket, and Rob's Humpty Doo. The Blue Dragon and Rob's Stickey Wicket . . . some of the blooms had to be removed, 'cause they didn't like the 1.5 hour car ride. All 4 got blue ribbons. I didn't get a picture of them next to the blue ribbons, but here are the pix of them on the show tables:

This one is Blue Dragon.

Hey Nichole,

Congrats!!!! Great pics and beautiful plants!!!! What are you using for the trailer experiment? Think about Humpty Doo looking like that pic on the instructions that Jan posted. WOW!!!

You definately can grow for show :)

mrsbonnie, are you talking about 4 for show or A.V.s in general? I have been ordering several leaves to grow out this winter so I would have something to share with the group. I will be more than happy to share some leaves with you the spring :)

Congratulations Nichole, great growing! I am always in awe of those who have the patience to grow to show. Rob's Humpty Doo is great but I really, really love the one called Rob's Sticky Wicket! All of your plants look wonderful and you should be very proud, you deserve those Blue Ribbons, Great Job!

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

Congrats Nichole! Your plants look awesome, all prizes are WELL deserved.

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Thanks, everybody. I've been spending the past few days disbudding, repotting, etc. Rob's Sticky Wicket I was able to make two smaller plants w/3 crowns each, plus 15 smaller crowns are being rooted! Rob's Humpty Do has been disbudded, but I haven't repotted that one yet.
