Is this called Arrowhead?
Plant ID
Yes, Arrowhead Vine, Syngonium podophyllum. Your's is the juvenile leaf form.
Wow Metro, You are really "there for me today" Thanks..
What does this mean? "the juvenile leaf form"
The leaves on the young plant look like an Arrowhead. The mature leaves are more complex and divided.
You can see the diffence by Googling "Syngonium podophyllum Images".
I see what you are talking about. Thanks.
As you can see I took pics of alot of my plants last night and this morning.
I just bought two beautiful hanging baskets. I plan to hang them opposite one another on the same wall. The area has alot of filtered light but no direct light. Will this plant do well if I split it and place half in each hanging basket in these conditions?
oh yeah and Daisy those come in several different Variations as well, I have 4 or 5 of them...I love them.
Daisy: You have a lovely Syngonium. Scroll down this page to see the ones listed in Plant Files, there are 20 listed and I think yours is the first one, the White Veined: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher%5Bcommon%5D=&searcher%5Bfamily%5D=&searcher%5Bgenus%5D=syngonium&searcher%5Bspecies%5D=&searcher%5Bcultivar%5D=&searcher%5Bhybridizer%5D=&searcher%5Bgrex%5D=&search_prefs%5Bblank_cultivar%5D=&search_prefs%5Bsort_by%5D=rating&images_prefs=both&Search=Search
Hubby says he will put the hangers up this weekend. I can't wait to see how lovely it will be in the hanging baskets. I wonder if it will go into shock when I split it?
Plantladylin, I have to agree with you. White Veined looks like mine. I also liked another one I saw there called Arrowhead vine, "Red Regina" - a soft maroon color.

I think I have that one daisy
Well then, we may need to talk!!
Oh, I just adore the solid green one.. Any chance you might share a piece? -- Green is my favorite color, so I guess it is no wonder I have fallen in love with the world of plants. I enjoy flowers but I love the foliage more than anything. I suppose that is why I love the philos and EE so much.
Lin, Maybe you can help me with the name of that particular green one and I will try to find one.. Just love it!!!

Yeah I don't have the plain green one either
This looks like a Nephytis to me... what's the difference between a Nephytis and an arrow plant?
Leysha,
When I was looking around about it I actually saw it called both. I guess just different common names.
Syngonium and Nepthytis are both in the Araceae family.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephthytis
Nephthytis is the former name of the Syngonium Genus.
Thank you so much. :) I appreciate the answers. I understand now. I guess it's just what you prefer calling it. :D
