Uh oh ... Not a little dove too?

LOL, they are both "unique" in their own way ... maybe they want to dress the way they want to, and not conform to how others think they should dress? ^_^

Yes I think the dove looks pretty neat. :-)

It really is a pretty one! I love how he's sitting kinda hunched up on the wood fence.

Do you not normally have them there???

(Zone 1)

Hey Nanny ... I tried to shoo what seemed like hundreds of them out of my yard yesterday .. maybe they all flew to Indiana? ^_^ They are interesting and pretty birds in their own right but they sure do make a racket and scare off a lot of the littler birdies!

Wilmar, AR(Zone 8a)

Great pics, everyone...I can't seem to attract Jays to my feeders...I hear them high up in the oak trees but they never come down.
Love the WT sparrows...I think they should be named Yellow-lored Sparrows.
I hope no Grackles come to my neck of the woods!

crazybirdlady51: Try peanuts and raisins, at least Blue Jays here seem to love them!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

whole peanuts do the trick here (attracting Blue Jays).

Jen, we have Grackles but not usually at this time of year. They start showing up late winter and stay thru about July normally.

Off to the new thread!
