Me too, I wanta see. I put out 9 of those big groups of bulbs, and didn't get a bloom..the ones that I have and sent are the doubles.I don't know if they need a rest, but since they didn't bloom here, I would think they would go ahead and bloom for you Charleen.

they are here in back of my desk so you know i will keep an eye on them.
Haven't planted too much this week end. Went on several woods walks
but that's been about it.

It's agreat time of year to walk in the woods, isn't it Charleen. I planted 1/2 of the grape hyacinths today and dug out a huge ornament grass, that was planted too close to the front door. Gonna replace it with a holly bush/ small tree.

DH says trees start tembling when they see me with a pair of
shears in my hands.

Yes, I will keep it pruned after it gets a little bigger. I think it says these get 6-8 ft.tall, and can be pruned in a tree shape or left bush shaped.

it. it will look so cute.

I am a notorous trimmer, I cut everything, I am ruthless, I would love to trim my neighbors bushes, but they won't let me

Yep, that what I'm thinking too...Christmas lights..Have to ever grown malva zebrina(minature hollyhock)? I had one come up in my yard this year. I think a bird musta left it for me, because I have never grown them , but my neighbor down the road has them.But, it is the prettiest little thing and it has bloomed all summer. I think it is still blooming. If it is, I will take a pic tomorrow

I have a cordless grass trimmer, I have been using it on my
small maple trees to trim them. I love it.
When DH hears it he comes to the door seeing if I am
getting any of his trees. It is so funny, I ask him if he is "watching me to keep me awa from your trees"
He just looks and not say a word.

it's funny you should mention that, I have never flown in my life, but I have in a car, left here at 20 after 8, & was crossing the jacksonville line in florida at seven in the morning, I think that was flying

you can see the races on espn, they feature some of them on t.v, by next week I'll know who I will be betting on, all I have to do is go to my tvg & look at the entries on who's running, then I'll know, you girls will know the outcome on Nov.8th

Yep, you were flying,Elizabeth..lol Charleen,I have no idea what it would cost, but they have some good rates on flights, if you book them ahead sometimes.My youngest daughter flies quite a bit.We should talk about this in private e-mails, and see what we can come up with. No one would have to fly, but I have no sense of direction, and hate driving, when I am not on familiar grounds..I really don't. I can get lost going around the block.

Sorry, I am not here much te last few days, but my neighbours little daughter (16 months) died this saturday. She was born with a severe muscle disease. She looks so sweet now lying in her bed almost if she is a sleep.
