Smiley does your grocery store sell loose mushrooms? You could probably eat a whole portabella cap, no? I like to saute them in balsamic vinegar and eat it with steak....tonight was grilled fish, summer squash, salald & pasta, and a teeny tiny glass of wine (last of it). It was pretty warm & sunny here.

Good evening All. Under a tornado watch here until 7PMCDT. There have been over 700 tornado watches issued this year, but fewer than 10 actual sightings/touchdowns.

Trina, my neurologist gave me the best advice yet for my migraines....I can't take the new migraine specific meds, so my GP prescribed demerol and sent me to Neurologist for tests....anyway, I asked if there was anything I could do other than knocking myself out....2 aspirin, totally dark room and ice. During a migraine all the blood vessels are super dilated...aspirin thins the blood and ice causes the blood vessels to constrict.....darkness reduces sensory stimulation/irritation. My migraines usually disappear in under 2 hours from onset, and they don't usually recur.

Venice, sorry about the plants, but I agree, something good will come from it. That tanker fire was scary business. Glad you are feeling better, sounds like you got a ton of stuff done today.

Moon I have something called Hemoragenous (sp) Migrianes, complicated by a closed head trauma...they like to mimic strokes..I had one lasted for 47 days once, not fun...now we don't let them get that far...have a very nice cocktail to take if worse comes to worse, but it makes me so out of it I try not to take it if I'm home alone

OK, I had my last day of jury duty today and wouldn't you know I got to be on the jury.
I just got home about 1 1/2 hours ago, so now I'm going back to the beginning of the thread to see what I might have missed.........

It was a long day!

yeah about to take the nasty cocktail since there is a responsible kid here to watch over things...I get a little loopy and sometimes need assistance to move when I take it, but after 3 days of this I'm ready

We had to come up with 2 counts against him and one was not guilty and the other one was guilty!

And yes smiley, I was the one with the mushroom. Still have some in the freezer ^_^

Hi! I was absolutely filthy dirty, me and my clothes. So I took a reall good shower, did my hair, and had to go to the grocery. I didn't have any milk so I end up getting a few more things also.

Smiley, I don't know if you remember or not, but I didn't get my Newbie seeds and 2 months had past. So I send an email and within a week I got plenty of seeds. Now today, guess what I got. MY addressed Newbie envelope with 18 packages of seeds!!! lol Is that my good Karma working???

Well they could only really proved one to us I think JJ, without a shadow of a doubt.

I am have to do a spread sheet to start. I don't know what these flowers/veggies look like, when they bloom, and how tall they are! What a mess! I wasn't expecting all of these! Obviously, I will only use a few seeds from the packets I use. As soon as figure out what these seeds are, I will let you know. And Trina, no, you can't have all of them!!!

They dropped all of the charges except the alcohol. Will lose his license for 6 months but will get permit to drive to work.
So he just went in front of Judge.

Probably didn't hurt that the head County Investigator likes his mom and had a conversation with the prosecuter.
I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not because I told Investigator I didn't think he should get off all I wanted him to see was if he would be able to get permit to drive to work so wouldn't lose his job. Kid has to learn if you play you have to pay.

The cop had a tape, but he put it on way to late for us to see what he claimed happened. So we decided we could not say guilty on that one without a shadow of a doubt. That was the one he got off on.
