Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Victor that looks like my Harry on steroids!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee. I'll have to look up the exact variety.

Thomaston, CT

Wow---I didn't know mock orange had fruit! My Dad always had one, but a different variety---the fragrance was wonderful----hope to smell the real orange trees in bloom next month!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Robin when I went to UofA, there was a walkway with orange trees and the blooms smelled heavenly. I miss that scent!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

my garden still blooming, I've even had some frost now.

while putting away some halloween stuff today.. I saw quite a few petunias blooming still.. I was shocked.. I need to do a ton of garden clean up out there.. sigh

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

I know the feeling:-)

Love those iris, Jumper! I still have million bells---weird!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Wow, I love that mock orange, Victor! That's something else!

Okay Victor that mock orange looks outstanding. Did you find the specifics on what variety it is? How tall etc I think it would be a nice deer deterrent with hose spikes maybe. It is one of those things I look at every year and then never get around to trying, may have to give it more consideration.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I would give that one more consideration myself, especially if it doesn't get too big.

Still have not, Pat. I know I got it from Fairweather, but they don't have it now. I will have to look up my old receipts.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

look it up so your mirror garden is complete

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee! It's a great architectural plant. I am sorry I did not plant it where I can see it from inside. Might have to get another myself!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

stop typing and check those receipts! :)

One of these days...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Went out to see if there is a tag - there is not. Another nice feature is striped bark. I'll take another pic tomorrow.

Okay - bad memory at work again. I contacted FW and they corrected me. It's not a mock orange. I was starting to doubt that myself when I was searching. It's this:

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

thx!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No problem. FW does not show it now but I'll ask if they will re-stock.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Thanks Victor for doing so much searching. I can see how the names could be confused. It is an outstanding little tree.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No problem. Just heard back from FW - they're no longer stocking it. No success in recent propagating.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice, Victor, though expensive. Probably cause it's so hard to propagate.

Don't go by that place. They're a ripoff. I only used that link because there were nice pics.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Oh, okay. So maybe it could be had for cheaper somewhere else.

I'm sure it can.
