oh a guy stopped by yesterday and was taking photos... he said he submits them to our neighborhood news and posts them on a website... it covers a few towns in the area... he was very impressed and he takes photos of the winners every year... he said the others didn't come close.. he must have been here for almost an hour taking shots

Yep---rather the cold than the dark---it was in the 50's in Goshen today---we were celebrating Anni's 3rd birthday---my nephew & his family were on their way home from Stockbridge, MA (dropping my brother off in CT) on their way home to the Bronx, & they stopped in at the farm---what a great surprise for all of us.
Goshen N.Y.? My sister lives there. Small world.

Yep---Goshen, CT---very small town---1 bank, 1 small grocery, hardware store, 2 restaurants, one only open breakfast & lunch---no gas station---lots of cows, 2 medium-sized lakes, & a lot of wealthy New Yorkers at Woodridge Lake community---my son & his family live on his FIL's blueberry farm. Weather today was party sunny, now cloudy, mid50s---

Temps got up to 54 today, and sunny. Went shopping for new washer. The old one died last night , with a full load in it(yuck).
Robin- Goshen Ct sounds a lot like Goshen NY. Its the home of the Trotters. Lots of horse farms and apple orchards.

Very frosty here! Supposed to get to 55 again--yeah! Have a young guy coming to finish raking here---can not do it, have tendonitis in my wrist. Forgot to say, Goshen, CT also has Commerford Farms---if an opera needs a camel or elephant on stage, they supply it. They always have some interesting animals out when we go by the farm.

Nice day. Took my kids and three friends of the older guy hiking. Had my hands full - four 10/11 year old boys! They were more interested in make-believe war games.

nice day here - mowed up the leaves on the grass and bed edges then went to work on raking my driveway - sounds like Iris has the same problem :) and moved the rock 10 yards - only 65 more to go - tried to get it onto a 2 wheeler and just could not left the thing - had up against a tree sloping away and the two metal bars lifting it and against my shoulders - could get it 70% there - not sure i could roll it in the 2-wheeler anyway - heavy stone - did not want to have to scar it using the pry bar the whole way - oh well.
